I’ve had this system for a few months, and I have to say that I love it! On myself, I don’t even bother etching the inside of the gel tip, although for clients I’d say that’s a must. Absolutely long wearing...I’ve had no breakage nor lifting. On me, I do a rebalance after two weeks, go another two weeks, and soak them off. And occasionally instead of doing a rebalance after a week and wanting to change color, I file down the cuticle area to blend it, add base, then color. Very versatile product. Gaw, I sound like I work for them, but I swear I don’t.

I've been using the Gel-X system for six months and I'm extremely pleased with it. Just a note on the tips, the Gel-X Sculpted tips have deeper C-curve. The Gel-X Natural are not as curved and fit flatter nail beds better. Edit: I don't use the LED light included with kit but rather preferred my own open-sided 36W LED.

Beautiful! I love that the apex isn't super high, that just screams "fake" to me. I wear mine about that long and they do just fine without a huge apex. The blue is spectacular!

These nails are designed to last as long as regular extensions. There is another KZbinr who even filled them once because she didn’t feel like a full removal. I haven’t he money to purchase the system, but it seems brilliant for DIY’ers. Also I have flat nail beds and the gel filling the space seems great for that too.

Love the review and demo have always wanted to see an in-depth of this product. Be interesting to see how long they last (if you keep them on for that long 😂) but then do you have to remove them each time? Also I didn’t know the tips were gel which is good to know xx thanks Sarah as always x

Ive been watching a few vids on these nails for a while now and yes, you'rs was probably the best tutorial, really informative, but you made it look so easy 😊. I think its really taking off this system, my main concern is you cant buy the tip sizes separately, and as with ALL sets half dozen of the sizes never get used, and I feel re-shaping larger tips to fit will ruin the shape.. I'd love to try them on myself, but for the reason just given its an expensive system to waste half the tips.. I watch all your vids so will deff keep watching for update... Thankyou x

After purchasing the initial system, I purchase only the tip sizes I need, they are sold in individual sizes. The Gel-X components can be purchased separately as needed.

They do feel strong - I will do an update in a couple of weeks :) I did take down the length as they were a bit long for me, and doing that they feel stronger. None have broken, yet, fingers crossed :) x

Very cool Idea ... but knows u, how long this Nails holding or stays in Form, break they fast, ... please can u make a Video, how long u have this Nails on and if there anyone broken in this Time ... would be very nice from u!? I only ask for my Girlfriend, so she have Troubles with to long Acrylic or Gel Nails and could make them sometimes by herself, when i have not much time for her Nails and i ask also for 5, 6 Clients! I'm not a fan of the side profile, it's got a serious downward curve. My nails grow like that naturally and I hate them. I fit my forms as you would for Russian almonds to get a nice c curve and a nice straight lower arch. Other than that, if you have the money and the dexterity (not me, I struggle as it is with fibromyalgia and my fingers!😬) Then it looks an ok system. I'm sure I saw someone on KZbin go to the n.e.c in Birmingham last April/may and get a demo done with either the same or a similar system. I'll look for the channel. Edit* the channel is Bella Kowalska. She did a video at a beauty sure which featured another company called I nails express. The apres gel X system seems to be 95% the same as that one, but I nails have been going since at least 2015 with their system. 😊

When I have someone who had wide nails, I add bit of gel to meet the tip. It works out well.

They recently added bigger thumb sizes. But I think they’re only in styles that were released recently.
