alsi chutney or javas chautney
recipe.
It is nutritious side dish
with any type of roti
and bread.

Ingredients:
. 1/2 cup Alsi(flax seed)
(100 gms)
. 1/4 cup sesame seeds
(50 gms)
. 1 tbsp crushed garlic
. 1 tbsp red chilly powder
(as per taste)
. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
. salt
(as per taste)
Method:
. Roast alsi (flax seeds)
on low flame in a pan.
. When started crackle
transfer it in plate.
. Roast sesame seeds
on low flame in a pan.
.When started crackle
transfer it in plate.
. Switch off flame and
transfer cumin seeds
and red chilly powder
on hot pan,
saute it continuously
for few minutes.
. Transfer roasted alsi,
sesame seeds,cumin,
red chilly powder in
mixtutre jar.
. Add salt and grind it
for coarse powder.
. Lastly add crushed garlic
and again grind it little.
just to mix it properly.
. Javas or alsi or flax chutney
is ready.
. Allow to cool at room temperature
and store in dry airtight container
for 30 - 40 days.
