My favorite band of all time. Best song IMHO is Mana. I cried many times in certain passages. Try the Blut im Auge as well. Thank you for making this video. When they had concert in Czech republic I took every possible signature of band members. And when the frontman sings songs from Kalmah( He supply his singer) in last concert in the Stará Chmelnice...That was great experience and christmas gift. And he gave me some small present. He cured my depression.

We all start somewhere. I've gone through a similar growth, except it was over 10+ years. He's been lucky in that he's gone through that same sort of grown in such a short time. Funnily enough, Equilibrium was the band that got me into harsh vocals, the logic being, as someone who can only speak/understand English, I couldn't understand their lyrics anyway, so who cares. Their lyrics were almost entirely in German when I first got into them.

Suidakra is another great folk metal band from Germany. They been around quite a while and are very underrated.

But the deal is that the song you did, while it is a really good song, its not the best they got. More so, from the point of your view, as you cant understand the lyrics. Thus why i suggest you listen to Stam1na - Valtian Uudet Vaatteet.
