I feel like you need to know that Blümchen was the German Britney Spears in the 90s. Everyone knew her and lot‘s of people had a crush on her even if they would never admit it. Blümchen really is THE LOOK of the German 90s so to say

Saw the guys live last night at their warm-up show in a small club in Hamburg for their big Lordfest on Saturday. Had the time of my not-so-young life. A mixed audience of all ages, metalheads, goth and glam people sang along to every note, partied, jumped and laughed with the band. There was no setlist, the order of the songs was drawn by lot in the audience, among the lots also some fun tasks for the band. If you ever have the chance to see LotL live: do it!

Pedro, I feel you. I was born in the 70ies, too, in fact in 1974. I listened to all the bands you named: Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode (up to today, they made me 6 months ago getting my first tattoo because of the loss of Andrew Fletcher and because of "Ghosts again". In the 90ies, I started listening to alternative stuff, from Gothic over Grunge up to EBM/Industrial. 9 months ago, this band. Lord of the Lost, really "happened" to me. I have to think over all my small tiny prejudices since then. But it is worth it, I really adore this band. Being lucky to live in Germany I had the jackpot luck to see LOTL 6 times since the beginning of March. Today, at their own 4000-people-festival at Hamburg named "Lordfest" will be the 7th time in about 9 months. ... and there is no ending. For 2024 I still own about 8 tickets for concerts or festivals they will give or attend. Let's be honest: If the LOTL infect got you it is nearly impossible to stop it again. Hope you gonna see them next year live - with a bit of luck, in USA. Thanks for your reaction videos. It makes so much fun listening to you. All the best, take care!

Man, as a Swede growing up in the late 80s and early I grew up with a lot of Roxette music. In the late 90s, I listened to a lot of Blümchen for a little while. I didn't know I needed this.

As a big Roxette Fan i ❤ this. They honoured the Original very well and their sound fitted so much. "Dont Bore Us, get to the Chorus" is also the name of Roxettes Greastest Hits album 👍

The Aqua comparison is apt, but what it really is is simply Blümchen's own style from the height of her career. She certainly had The Look back then. :D Can't say I ever liked her music that much, more my sisters' style than mine, but certainly fun to see here, and she's an excellent match for the song as well. (And looks great in black!)

Great song !!! They played it just like the original, the riffs.. the singers, everything. It sounds more like "how would The Look sound with LOTL sound?" sometimes just doing the same doesn't work, and sometimes doing it. works well like in this case!

Blümchen was a big teen rave EDM star in Europe in the 90s. She was 16 at the time, and I think the dream of every pubescent boy. :) She also released some of her songs in English under the name Blossom, e.g. her hit Herz an Herz, as Heart to Heart kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6q5pmNplJuJqdk I find it enviable that she is now 43 and has hardly changed in appearance :) This collab by LOTL with Blümchen is very refreshing, especially because it gives a really good 80s song a real boost.

If there's one of many names i forgot even existed is Blümchen. As far as i remember she was introduced as pop person and i saw her on german Viva on satellite TV back in my youth. I feel extremely old.
