Immolation is an amazing and very consistent band...I saw them live during the Dawn of Possession Tour back in the early 90s...I saw them live again a few year ago and they were as fresh and powerful as back then...really really good band! Congrats!

Immolation are a class act all around! I miss some grittiness from the early records on newer Immolation records (everything from Kingdom of Conspiracy onwards) but they still have a really dark atmosphere and sound totally unique. no one else writes riffs like Bob Vigna, no one else sounds like Ross, no one else has drum fills to accentuate riffs in a way that Steve does in Death Metal.

The part about separating the first half to the second half with an interlude was kind of pointless and somewhat inappropriate. Are you going to suggest what kind of riffs should be played next? This is not about your taste in music, it’s about their take on it. The rest of the interview is good but that criticism is unnecessary and awkward.
