I plan to do my own nails soon, and I've watched a lot of videos, and I think gelling is probably a safer bet, and to me It doesn't look that difficult. I was wondering what was the difference between hard gel and soft gel? And which one is better to use? I'm a little scared to use a drills because I'm afraid to cut my finger when I have to do my cuticles, but I have to start somewhere. Even if you are using Gel Builder, do you still need to use hard / soft gel or does it not matter?

So hard gel is very difficult to soak off sometimes it doesn’t you have to edible it off but soft gel soaks very easy. I definitely recommend that

I have a hard time having the tips fit the nails, like it overlaps from either side or it just won’t lay flat on perfectly. What do I do?
@jaelblanco55592 жыл бұрын
If it lays flat you can always add extra gel to create an apex 😀
@glammedbeauty2 жыл бұрын
You can always file the tip to fit perfectly and if it doesn’t lay flat add more gel. You don’t want to push the tip down super hard trying to get it o lay flat because it will cause pain, just add more gel and let it flow.

So you don’t use a base coat?
@glammedbeauty2 жыл бұрын
I don’t, if I were to I would use the same soft gel. I only do the base layer if they’re really rough on their nails
