Yes just use a dehydrator or at least pure alcohol to remove the natural oil from the nail!! Then seal the cuticle and they will last 4+ weeks ❤

nope! base coat isn't very necessary on gel-x since its already gel, so you can go straight to color :)

Is flash curing the same as the bigger lamp?

nope! flash curing should be done with a mini lamp, with the nail held underneath it for a few seconds, and you do so for each nail of the hand. then once you've gotten the tips all applied, stick the hand in the big lamp for 60s to fully cure it down. you can find many different mini lamps, just search up flash cure lamps!

If you mean to paint and “decorate” the nails before applying them with gel x then no, the nail glue will not cure properly and can lead to fungus/bacterial growth and/or an allergic reaction

watch how much gel you apply to the nail, if there's too much just wipe it back off in the bottle and continue to paint, and use a light hand angled more upward rather than flat while painting to keep too much gel from being pushed out! just keep experimenting, hope this helps!

@@yeseniagarcia7539 looks like the short almond. if you plan on doing them on yourself, check if your nailbeds are curved or more flat. aprés sells a “natural” or “sculpted” version of all tips, the natural being more flat and sculpted being for curved nail beds, so be sure to get the right one to fit your nail good !
