Your remake of your grandmother's quilt is fabulous. I'll bet you can hardly wait to curl up with the quilt & pillow in your favorite chair with a pint (of ice cream or beer depending on your personal preferences ;). Now your kids and grand kids will have a legacy quilt passed down to them too. My #3 project is going to be rough - it needs the most work I think and, partly due to my poor math skills, my March UFO is still UF....eek... only working 2 days next week so I am hoping to catch up the UFO challenge, the 250 year BOM, and the Baskets of Fun. Maybe even get ahead.... haha.

How inspiring your videos are! All I accomplished this month was a mend on an old quilt that we think was made by my DH's great-grandmother. Wish we knew for sure which great-grandmother and when. It is not beautiful, but a treasure nonetheless. Thanks for the inspiration to finish or mend an old quilt.

You did your grandmother proud! It wasn't until February that I found you. My January project (I cheated, haha) was one I actually did in January, a photo lap quilt for a friend. (I forgot to photograph it before I gave it to her.) Feb was my journal cover and a pineapple lap quilt with batiks. It was a show stopper! I've already gifted it. I wish I could include a photo but I don't see how to do that in comments! March I've fallen behind on but it's another pineapple quilt in shades of blue (queen size), for me. April is getting pushed but I'm trying. So glad I found you!!

I have to put binding on my March project. I set my 12 projects differently After I chose my projects,I wrote them out on a slip of paper. Then I pulled out the note randomly and labeled 1 to 12. Each month I pick the next project by numerical order.

I love the randomness of this challenge. I haven't had a plan to finish my UFOS before. I "cheated" in January - made the project I had been determined to finish as that month's number. I did get it done. February was a flannel scrap strip quilt. I decided to QAYG and loved trying out different free motion designs. I made an unexpected trip out of state in February into March, so I finished the flannel quilt when I got home. Way behind now on March's project- it will probably be pushed off til 2024. Very excited to work on #3.

My project #3 is with a Tula Pink skunk fabric in an economy block setting, and I am so excited to finish it.

My mom made a puff quilt for her mom. All by hand. Her stuffing was the legs of old nylons! Not panty hose! Nanny lived with moms sister, a non crafter. It had dark colours too. Auntie through it out! She could have given it back to mom. But no! Toss it.
