Paul Sumayao, A Court of Mist and Fury is the second book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses trilogy. The series is about a 19 year old girl, Feyre, who kills a wolf in the woods that actually ends up being a Fae. One of the dead Fae's friends comes to Feyre's home and says she owes her life in servitude for killing it. She goes back with the friend to a mansion and lives there. It is basically a Fae retelling of Beauty and the Beast.

Oh, you MUST read the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants if you like Ann Brashares and contemporaries! They are probably my favorite YA contemporary novels to this day. Ella Enchanted is another of my favorites and the movie is practically a different story, which is a real shame. I love seeing you include books that aren't new releases! Those books need love too!

This month I picked up the book Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon and OMG it is so good. I love the characters, the plot and basically everything about this book I'm only at page 125 because I picked it up yesterday. But I'm hoping to finish it by the time the book to movie adaptation comes out. I just love it so much and would recommend it to anyone who likes romance comedy kind of books.

Hi Jessie! I usually haven't read most of the books you haul (though I still enjoy hearing you talk about them!), but this time two of them are on my TBR! I just got both "Geekerella" and "Ella Enchanted" on audio. I haven't gotten to listen to them yet, but I think they look really cute and fun. You're not alone in having seen the Ella Enchanted movie before reading the book, and not realizing until recently that the movie was based on a book. I didn't realize it until I joined Goodreads and that was only two years ago! If you enjoy Ella Enchanted, I recommend you read "Fairest" next, which is by the same author and set in the same world. People say it's not quite as good as EE, but having read "Fairest" before EE, I thought it was really cute and sweet. Anyway, thanks for making such fun videos and being your awesome self.

OH MY GOD!! I read Ella Enchanted in 8th grade and fell in love with it... that summer the movie came out and I cried. FOR DAYS I CRIED!! The movie was basically NOT Ella Enchanted. ALL THEY DID WAS TAKE ALL THE NAMES FROM ELLA ENCHANTED AND SLAP THOSE ONTO THE MOVIE!!! Please read that book ASAP Jesse! It'll take a couple of hours top. Ugh, I will always have a soft spot for Gail Carson Levine!

I absolutely love Fairest and The Two Princesses of Bamarre ❤️ I totally agree that the movie adaptation didn't do the book justice; the book was just so much richer and developed 😊

I know the feels of the reading slump feel. I had one for two weeks (during tome topple and a little bit before it). Then I picked up the incredibly controversial book of: Uprooted and really liked it. Now I am reading one of the tomes I had planned for Tome topple and I will pick up the other two books in the trilogy tomorrow. I am curious about the A court of thorns and roses series, but very apprehensive because YA is typically something that lets me down. I have yet to find a book in that cathegory I'd rate above 3.5 stars.
