I think if you want to do the pageant again next year, I’d start to put in a budget line for it from May onwards.

Thanks for continuing to share these even though some months are better than others, I really appreciate the honesty 👏Now that you know that you will come back to the pageant in 2025, you can be putting some money aside for longer, although it's probably going to still be quite expensive. I'll be looking forward to seeing your 'no spend challenge' content 😊

It's hard to share the tough months but then I remember that everyone has them and if we were all more open about them, maybe they wouldn't seem so bad ☺️ I'm definitely going to start saving for next year's pageant ahead of time! And I'm hoping to pick up a sponsor or two to help manage the costs 🙏

Are you able to pay your phone bill with cash or is that just representing the direct deposit? Or is that saving up for a new phone?

I’m on a family plan with my mum so she has me put the money aside each month and then I give it all to her in one go at Christmas time ☺️

I definitely didn't budget for an entire last-minute pageant wardrobe 😂 But I'm hoping if I can resell the dresses that came too late (and too big) for me to wear then at least a can recoup a little bit of that.
