It always brings a smile to my face when I see your face pop up on my KZbin feed! If I'm being honest I've not read at all over the past month. I've been training for the past 5 weeks for a new position in my company and just finished. I'm working remotely now from home so thankfully I will have much more reading time now. I hope you've been well and are living your best life! ❤

Haha I love you Jill, “I don’t know why books like this exist.” 😂 For April’s pick, my friend Tiah has been bullying me to read On Earth, We’re Briefly Gorgeous so that’s what I’m going with!

I loved The Goblin Emperor!!! I don't have anything that exactly fits but I might go with Siblings by Brigitte Reimann because the bookseller really passionately told me I HAD to read it when I was looking at it

Booksellers can be bullies too! Hopefully it's a winner!

So excited each time this video arrives!! For this one I'm going to pick Daisy Jones & The Six, perfect choice for this prompt!

The absolute loathing in your voice when you said "vignettes" 😂 I read The Goblin Emperor earlier this year and it was really good! I think I'm going to swap a book out this month and read North Woods.

HAHAH I didn't even realize and I rewatched and..yeah. The loathing runs deep 😂😂 I have been itching to get North Woods but I am holding out for the paperback. Hopefully you enjoy it!

Always happy to see a new video from you! I've wanted to read The Goblin Emperor for a long time. It was very popular when it came out. Hope you enjoy it!

You’ll be pleased that the book that works the best from my stack for this prompt is Demon Copperhead! Which I put on my tbr spin stack purely so the bullying would end

Hooray!!!!!!!!! Stop the bullying and read a great book!

I'm picking Our Share of Night by Mariana Enriquez. The person that is bullying me to read it is ME. I've had it on my shelf for a year and I FREAKING PREORDERED IT back in 2022 and I still haven't read it. So I'm going to fix that this month.

😂 I know the feeling! I am so drawn to that cover and title but I am too scared that it will be scary to read it! Hopefully it was worth the wait

I swapped something out and I'm going to read Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu because it feels like all the Netflix ads for the show are bullying me to read it 😏 That counts right? The Goblin Emperor looks like fun, I really hope it turns the tide for you. 🧡💛

Ah I just started watching it!! And I read the book a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Hopefully you enjoy it too!

I didn't like Outline either. Don't get the hype. I was also a bit disappointed by The Crying Book, I expected a bit more.

Glad I am not alone in my readings! Hopefully this month delivers a more enjoyable read!
