I saw them twice, too. The last time in Mississauga, I was shocked when he talked about this song a little bit embarrassed by how "pop" it was. If only he knew how many of us were in school and this song was the soundtrack to our very first loves.

Growing up in Montreal in early 70s, where April Wine was based these guys were like The Beatles for me. My 2 brothers, cousin and few neighbourhood friends had a Fat Albert like junkyard band (we were horrible) and we sang a long to many of April Wine's early hits. I had forgotten how many memorable and great sing-a-long songs they did until falling down the KZbin rabbit hole. Brings back great memories of my youth.

So many memories......remember April Wine was one of my first concerts when I was a kid. It was April Wine and Harlequin and they blew my mind. April Wine, so under-rated. Ahhhhhh, those were the times of quality music. Just love the 70's rock (from progressive - i.e. Genesis/Yes to rock/pop like Elton John, April Wine, BTO, The Guess Who, etc etc..... Miss those days....
