I figured most people hadn't because it's fairly new and also middle grade! But definitely worth checking out. Hope your library is able to put in a hold for you!

30:04 The Story of the Hundred Promises by Neil Cochrane is so good! I requested it from my public library via the Libby app while I watched this video the other day, and the ebook came in y yesterday and I read the whole thing! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🥰🌈 It's the first full length book I've read that regularly uses the gender neutral pronouns e/eir/eirs - even though they've been around in English language circles for 35+ years or so? - and I also enjoyed the structure of each large and small section of the novel. The blessings and gift giving, amazing characters, land stewardship and forestry, propaganda and bigotry, change in big and small ways . . . So much good stuff to discuss! ❤️ edit: and I really appreciate how the main protagonist is a 25yo man who is already an accomplished sailor and first mate.
