I just finished daughter of smoke and bone and it took me a day, I just couldn't put the book down. I was so nervous going into this book because like 30 pages in I was already weirded the crap out, but midway through I just got sucked into the book and I cant wait to read the next 2 books I already have them!!!

While Akiva is not my favorite character so far, I do agree that Taylor's word choices are amazing. Her writing is a such a breath fresh air :)

Holy moly City of lost souls was my favourite of the series, i remember how pumped and exited i felt while reading it! And i totally agree about city of fallen angels it was not as pumping as the other books but the feels were still very much in there!

I must agree. I loooooove Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I read it in german the first time and loved the story. Then when I was in London I stumbled upon it and bought both the first and second book as well as Divergent and Insurgent. Once I finished Divergent and Insurgent (which were good too) I started to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone again, but this time in English aka the original version. I was so in awe of the writing style. It's just brilliant. I immediately fell in love with it even more and it is now my favourite. (Sue me but I haven't read many books but I'm planning to and I'm finding lots to add to my list on your channel so thanks for that). But so far it is definitely my favourite and I'm so sad it's over now eventhough I haven't managed to read Dreams of Gods and Monsters yet

I was glad when you went to taking about the mortal instruments books because that is seriously like my most favorite series ever. I have read the whole series. It is my favorite series my number 1 series. I have also recently just finished reading daughter of smoke and bone and it was so good and I am looking for to reading the rest of the trilogy. I believe that this will also be one of my favorite series like my 2nd favorite next to the mortal instruments. I gotta have mortal instruments be my first though, it's first ever series I have ever kept up with entirely, I just love the world and its characters like I could never hate mortal instruments it's just the best. That's why it's my favorite. And I can't wait for the show to come on in 2016. It's gonna be epic. Btw hearing you talk about daughter of smoke and bone is what made me wanna read it because you just described it so well and sounded like a great story with how you described the stuff about kaorus mysterious background and the whole chimera thing. It made me want to read it and I did and I am glad I listened to you recommendation. It's now one of my favorites.

Almost finished with Dreams of Gods and Monsters and LOVING it. I wasn't a huge fan of the first book, but the second was gold. And the third is also amazing. Laini's writing is just to die for. I would kill to write like her. lol. I also need to catch up with the Mortal Instruments series.

Great wrap-up! You really loved the DoSaB trilogy, haha. I finished the first one and thought it was epic, but the second one just dragged on so much for me that I couldn't finish reading and had to put it down halfway through. I plan on picking it up again, eventually. Currently rereading TMI, starting with CoB. MAY 27TH CAN'T GET HERE FAST ENOUGH! XD

These months are going so fast. I am yet to read the Daughter of Smoke & Bone series. Hearing some good things about it. Need to read it. Rebelle Belle sounds so awesome from what everyone has been saying. I need to grab that book. I am yet to finish City of Lost Souls. Need to finish up the series before the last one comes out.
