I just finished Crown of Midnight and OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need the next book. I need it now. NOW! And I was going back and forth between reading Assassin's Blade next or take a break and read Love Letters to the Dead, but I think you made my mind up. Assassin's Blade =)

Have you read the Graceling trilogy by Kristin Cashore? If you haven't you should. The main character in the first books is alot like Celaena and they are alot like Throne of glass and just awesome reads

Throne of glass does have a hard cover but it does not match the covers of crown of midnight and assassins blade like the paperback does .

I feel that I would have loved "Assassin's Blade" even more if I had read it BEFORE "Throne of Glass." I gave it a 4.5/5 (that video is upcoming - I filmed it yesterday), however, I think its because at the beginning of the story Celeana is not the character we know and love in Throne of Glass - she developed so much and became so much more caring and heroic throughout "Assassin's Blade," while in Endovier, and during the course of "Throne of Glass," that I didn't particularly like her in "The Assassin and the Pirate Lord" until *SPOILER ALERT* the moment when she freed the slaves with Sam. I didn't REALLY get into it until "The Assassin and the Desert." Although I LOVE LOVE LOVE the world building and side stories (the spiders, the healers, the Silent Assassins, the Crochan Queens) However, I would say that in order to get the full emotional effect of "Crown of Midnight" you should read "Assassin's Blade." Some of the things Celeana has to relive in that book become so much more powerful when you realize that she's already lived through them before.

I liked Panic, but the writing and writing style was horribly lazy. That was the biggest flaw for me. It was hard to read it because of that style. However, it was still pretty interesting, and it's nice to get a fun stand alone novel every now and then.
