@13:40, i believe the one hose that has the oetiker clamp on it is some kind of vacuum hose. I kind of had the same thought initially, but the hose that has the spring clamp is just a vent.

Thanks for the feedback! I have one more upgrade (a GPR steering damper) to accomplish before the riding season starts then it’s time to slap a lot of miles on it!

Question, does your bike have trouble going into neutral? Mine does. I wonder if the transmission has tighter tolerance or there’s something wrong (same bike ) btw

Do you have the quick-shifter installed? Mine was very easy to find neutral until adding the quick-shifter, now it’s basically average compared to many other cycles I’ve owned.

If you look in the video description, I’ve included a link for an alternative method for removal and installation of the rear shock. It’s not the recommended procedure per Aprilia but it looks very simple IF you have a motorcycle lift to clamp down the front wheel and another motorcycle jack to lift and support the motorcycle under the skid plate. It may also be possible to do with one scissor lift under the bike’s skid plate, if it were stable enough. I recommend a scissor lift in this video that would be appropriate.

Sorry, man. My spring compressor was an imperfect fit so I wasn’t willing to fool around with recording that part. I value all my fingers. I also don’t want to encourage someone to use the same spring compressor. As I said in the video, most people, even myself really would be better off having an off-road shop swap out the spring for less than half of the money to purchase a spring compressor.

I noticed that you have a different exhaust pipe on your bike. Why that?

It is the full exhaust system from Arrow Exhausts. No catalytic converter to reduce high heat issues, increase airflow and performance. Exhaust runs significantly cooler than the factory exhaust.

was your spring almost 2cm shoter then the stock? im in the process of replacing mine and notice the spring i had was 2 cm shorter and no collar to accomodate for the shortness

@@thedeathguy2 No. I don’t remember any difference in height. The inner diameter of the spring was about 1mm wider than the stock spring, but that’s the only difference. I would check the numbers on on the spring and contact someone at AF1 (or whoever you bought it from) for help. Maybe they can put you in touch with Eibach.
