I wish all exhausts AND all exhaust videos were this good. He gets different angles, takeoff, accelerating, idling, reving, inside garage, outside, behind, from the side, EVERYTHING!. Just needs onboard view to be perfect

I have got another Tuono with Akrapovic slip-ons. I'm planning to make yet another exhaust sound video with less echo this time!

@ what other implementations would you use, just different environment or?... I also use canon cameras for photography but I haven't dabbled in much videography at all. I have a cheap shotgun mic too so again not much experience.

@@johnnytopgun6414 Yes, different environment. The carage and hard walls had a bit too much echo. I have tascam dr-40 recorder, which I would be using with internal mics in a-b position (gives nice stereo separation). One shotgun mic cannot capture great atmospheric sound. But can be useful in many applications. In this video I used a large diagphram condenser stereo pair for wide sound field, plus a shotgun mic to give some presence. But this setup caused phase issues at some times. I also made a multi channel surround sound mix, which sounds wicked with good listening setup :)

Miika Venäläinen I dunno, it kinda almost sounds like a single crossed with a cruiser engine. Still sounds better than any inline 4, but I still prefer 90°v twins and v4's...

Dadul Ludad For me Aprilia sounds more throaty, angry and raw than VTR. ...yes there might be more single cylinderish sound, but it revs higher than any average 1-cyl. Both of them sound good only if you have open mufflers :D

That's because RC51 fires in 270° intervals. The BRP-Rotax V990 based Aprilia fires at 300° intervals.
