Cheers mate! I was sick when recording this video but I think I covered all the good and the bad and the are not many 😊. It’s a great bike and I’m sad to let it go 😟

Good comparison with S1000R. My decision leaned toward BMW. Thank you. Checked bunch of videos lately… but this one was most descriptive. I intend to use it for short commuting rides. Is it ok? Would you go back to BMW S1000R?

Thank you! Glad I could help out. I would if I was going to use it for commuting, longer rides and touring. The s1000r I believe turn into the corners easier than the Tuono. Now I am using the Tuono for all sorts of riding but especially for the track. But I don’t want a sports bike that cost a fortune in insurance and with power on top of the rew range so the Tuono is perfect for my current needs 😊

Very nice review , I am looking to get the 2021 model as a track and road bike , I liked the way you said that it beats out other super nakeds like mt10 and monster etc .., my question - on track how would you say it compares to the s1000rr ? I am Intermediate level guy on track , still trying to learn a lot , would you say the touono would be good in that way ?

Thank you! I can’t compare or comment on how it compares to the s1krr since I haven’t tried that bike on track. It also depends on the track itself and obviously the skill of the rider. If it’s a faster track with long straits and fast corners I guess the BMW would be the better option. But the Tuono beats the single R at least when I’ve compared the two. Nevertheless you can’t go wrong with the Tuono. Enjoy!

You could fix the throttle twitchiness w UpMap by Gabro Racing....you'll be amazed by the difference!

The number one mod is the "FlyHammer Racing GP Shift Lever", if you don't already have a GP shifter. After using a GP shifter there's no going back to the standard shift pattern.

Yeah I used to have that on a previous bike and it makes a big difference especially on the track. I had my eyes on Bonamici rearset with race shift. Thanks for the tip, will look at FlyHammer as well. Now I’m going to have clip ons installed 😉

can't compare a 2015 bike to something new, so all in all it was amazing for it's time.

You are right. And I don’t think I did other than saying that the throttle connection is better on the newer Tuono’s.

How do you rate the Tuono for fun on the road Vs the MT10 and S1000R? I rode one and felt it maybe was too much for the road only.

In isolation they are amazing bikes all of them. I had the MT10 Tourer version and it was very comfortable for longer journeys. It’s like a superduke GT almost. But on the track the MT10 had bad breaks and felt a bit clumsy. Although it’s engine, the torque, the short wheelbase and reliability is great. The s1kr had much better breaks but needed a taller screen and a more comfortable seat to take for longer rides. The s1kr is easier around town. I had a full system on and it makes all the difference. The Tuono has equally good breaks but lacks the cruise control, heated grips and the semi active suspension which helps for longer trips but on track it’s amazing. The power delivery is unbeatable. The s1kr is easier to live with. It’s not as aggressive as the Tuono. So they are all great bikes. Make sure to take them all for longer test rides before you make your choice.

The bike is superb....END OF! Engine, chassis, engine🥰 It's not twitchy, it is thirsty, but so is a Ferrari 🥒💦

So far no issues. I’m going to change the seal of the steering damper because I feel it’s a bit loose 👍
