Aptera already works on Pi for over half a year. And still not ready. Would be easier and faster to build Aptera from Lego Bricks.

Yet another detailed example of engineering brillliance coming from Aptera's engineers. Also, please notice how the geometry and use of these innovative metal alloys and placement ensure the high level of safety in the body. As a result this will likely be one of the safest vehicles on our roadways. Also, you can easily see how right to repair will be faciliitated by both design, choice of materials and video/written instructions for owner repairs if and when necessary. PI4 build is already almost completed--all the parts are on site.

What is innovative with a standard aluminium frame made out of square rails? Why is that safe? And Pi is almost complete. Since 6 months. And it will keep almost complete.

@@vic321344 You should THINK a bit before you write trash like you did. The frame is NOT standard--it will fit no other vehicle but I'm sure you didn't know this and if you can't fathom WHY it would be safe, you'd better go back to your Engineering 101 course for a refresher. As far as the PI builds, I'm pretty sure you didn't even know that the BinC's weren't even out of Italy six months ago, but again truth doesn't matter does it? Better check your bank account again.

One example: If a bent/broken support can be or should be repairable for the owners 'right to repair' advocate and engineering approach would be to have that support securely bolted to a stronger frame member rather than welded. It's way of thinking when in the design stage also using non-corrosive nuts/bolts rather than cheaper grades of steel. Right to repair think is built into designs from the start. Examples: Dual-It toasters, Technivorm Coffee brewers, Baratza coffee mills, Country Living Grain Mills, John Deere garden tractors. Right to repair built in from the start.
