RE 2 Hearts 1 Land: I feel so vindicated. As a Child of two different immigrant families I have only ever identified as Canadian. For me there is no "back home" or "Old Country" If I were to go to England or Italy it would be as a Canadian Tourist. Because of this, I have always felt a need to understand Indigenous culture. That, thanks to the usual Western Education curriculum, I know more about dead cultures on the other side ofthe globe than the still living culture of the people of the land under my feet has always irked me.
