No doubt there is some truth in the narative of the residential schools- BUT- my ex wifes aunt was a nun in Wabasca for most of her life. She- and many others gave their whole lives to making things better for the people of these small isolated communities, and you have just destroyed her and their lifelong legacy. The past can’t be changed, but the present and future can. How many native people are living on the streets? Every town and city has them- what are YOU doing about it, or are you just going to wait and in 50 years blame non- indigenous people again? About time you stepped up to the plate. And whats with all the young people dying on your reserves? Thats on you too. Clean up your acts.
