Hunter its great to see you and your new space. My favorite part was the random accent change. Cant wait to see more content.

Pro Tip: when rigging lights to a grid, run the stinger all the way to where the light will be, then tie up your power supply, head extensions, etc right near the light. One, so you can have the head extension slack, to move your lamp to a different spot, or lower the light on an arm or something. Two, so you can remove the lamp all at once without having to reposition the lift or ladder to unplug from further away. Just some stuff i've learned over years. Cheers! nice review!

Cool Cyc! Personally I think you should consider multiple Amaran p60c's hung from your grid to light it. I think you'll get a better wash and more output per dollar.

is the 300c brighter than the 200xs?

I'm looking to swap in this for my 200D as a keylight because I dont like filming under daylight colour temperature in the evening. I do have CTO gels but the convenience of changing via software plus the colour options are alluring. However, I use a Light Dome SE with a grid and have already uograded from a 100D because it didn't have enough output. I'm surprised that this is the same as a 200X at 5600K which i assume would be roughly similar to a 100D which would put me back at square one in regards to output! Any idea how this would compare at a 1/2 CTO gel on a 200D? I realise this is fairly technical and specific question but i just thought I'd ask as your video raised the concern with the comparison to the 200X. Thanks for a great vid!

I would guess it's pretty similar in brightness. I know you don't techically get the full output of the 200 watts on the X at 5600 but, I would say they are similarly bright. I don't think you'll be missing out too much. I can do a test though for you if you'd like, we have a 200d and 200x. If you watch our video on the 150c, you can also get an idea of how bright it is based on the situations we use it in and the 300c is obivously brighter than that. Just to give you a reference. If I had unlimited money I'd just get the 300C because of all the options it gives you. I can make a quick short tomrorow comparing 300c, 200x and 200d if that helps. Thanks! kzbin.info/www/bejne/fp-VhJtjor5lpZY

@@BlackValve a comparison would be amazing! I've seen a few people asking the same question (with conflicting answers), so I'm sure it would be very helpful for some people. ☺️
