Aputure COB 300D Mark II vs GVM Pro SD500B light

For those wondering how the output of a 500W is so bad compared to a 300W, its because the 300 is all daylight pixels, while the 500 is probably 250 daylight and 250 tungsten when set to a completely daylight color it's using all 250 to just show daylight color and vice versa. Somewhere in the middle it's either using all 500 at like 50% power. Maybe a better comparison would be another Bi-color light from aputure/amaran series. As another noted, keeping the WB consistant at Daylight temperature would yield better comparison results since the camera is trying to offset the color shift each differnt light is producing to make it look similar. I know its an output test not a color shift test, but could have been two birds one stone. Still gave a like tho. Keep creating!

Output is really bad since it's 500w VS 300w. How is this possible ? There's something really concerning with the GVM there.

300D is Daylight light(5600K), GVM500 is bi color( blue and yellow diods). Bi color lights are usually 40% less powerful than daylights.

why do you set the white balance to auto? worst thing to do for a comparison. How can we see if there are color shifts? And bouncing it wil make them quality of light change. only thing you are comparing is intensity. Bad review. Redo.
