After bitching at him that this doesnt, work...i stand corrected it does. Once I did it once, doing it again was super easy. The 2nd method works best to pull them in a circle, the Barov seems to work ok, just take it slow. Cleared my 1st full run. 6 Larval Acid, 2 Bone Scarabs, 1 Gold Scarab and 2 BOE Greens. Tip. You can also kill the beetles in the earlier part of the run after the 1st skip. They drop keys to the scarab caches, even though they are not on the loot table on wowhead.

There just seems to be so much RNG on getting past the Gladiators. You pull them and they immediately enrage. Dead. I've gone 100% out of LoS and behind the same spot he vanishes on the first skip, I remain in combat and they walk around the block to kill me. Try doing the long pull around the edges (with mount speeds) and once one enrages, they run faster and you're dead. Still have yet to get a successful vanish after the 2nd skip using Barov. Been able to get the first skip consistent now, but second having so much bad luck.

Not usually one to comment but this video is super helpful. I've honestly spent the better part of 3 hours practicing the pulls and spots and coming back to the video to see where I'm going wrong. I've died probably around 30 times. Don't expect this to be super easy and nail it every time or first time. Make sure you take off your gear until you reach the grubs and just keep trying and have some patience you will get it down eventually :) Good luck on drops!

@@Zatar Its all good, it was my first time so just had to learn the pulls, I might just be terrible! Once I got to the grubs it was plain sailing. Your video was really helpful to go back through each section and try and find what I was doing wrong. Hardest part for me was the Gladiators, especially the second pull, been hit out of vanish a few times but just RNG I suppose. I have way more success with the 2nd strat of the first pull also. If you get behind line of sight, they should never hit you out of vanish. If the timing lines up the barovs should expire as you are rounding the corner. The main thing to worry about is the gladiators chasing the barovs and seeing you with their stealth detection.

Make sure you get Outfitter mod. It makes this much less painful. I have an outfit for the first pull, which is just boots and carrot. (Even if they enrage I just have the one boot to repair.) Then the birthday outfit for sneaking around in case I get caught. Then a 3k health outfit with green stamina gear which includes carrot for the second pass... The second pass I use a normal Nature Protection Potion (not greater) a few minutes earlier so my health pot is ready in case I take too much poison damage past the bugs. I also created a macro that casts Evasion and the Purple Skeletal Warhorse with the same click, and sticking to the left wall and making a sharp turn into the bug hall does the trick rather than the peasant caller. When I die, which happens about half the time, the res is a minute away and I damage minimal gear. I only ever equip the Normal set when I know i'm safe to fight slugs. Couple additional notes: the range of the slug cloud is pretty small, and is not a poison dot, just take a couple steps away and you'll be safe. The corner in Ayaniss' room where you can't see anything, you may have trouble looting the bugs because you're clicking the weird mask of the terrain. You have to zoom all the way in so you're in first person and get pretty close to the slug to loot in this case. Hope any of this info helps you guys too.

Btw, depending on your race, you might not need the jump, and simply pass through the space between the two walls on the left. Works as UD, guess human, gnomes and dwarfs fit as well.

For the second skip you don't need to unstealth/use mount. Just use sprint and you can make the jump. Depending on your spec it will be off CD before/at the same time as vanish anyway. Saves having to worry too much about the patrol. The second skip is always more problematic for me. They ALWAYS come for me after vanishing/sprinting away.

I don't get the 11:20 pull. I've done frame by frame the exact sequence and died about 9 times in a row. The first gladiator gets to and one shots the barovs before I'm even close to the doorway, then they turn aggro on me really quickly. Any tips?

Found a safe spot that you can use if you get in trouble. Ayamiss' room, as soon as you walk in, turn immediately left and walk up the ledge into a triangular hole. (Sidenote) I've had more success with a nature potion and jumping off the pipe. You also do not need vanish once you hit the water. Stay underwater, wait to drop combat and reset.

I used Ancient Cornerstone Grimoire to pull the Gladiators and it does work but you have to do a lot of foot work just like you mentioned if the barovs dont aggro initially. Gonna get barov trinket and try to do this more quickly with vanish cd reduction spec like u mentioned again. Thank for the video, definitely took me quite a few tries.

Every time I vanish, it says leaving combat, and a second or two later they're still running me down and kill me. I think this was patched or something.

You have to vanish behind Los. To avoid first 2 I showed 2 methods, but if they enrage you can still die.

They will continue chasing in the same direction they have been running for an extra second or so and if they happen to see you that's what goes wrong. That's why you need to change directions as your Vanishing and get behind Los. If something is going wrong you need to be Vanishing sooner than you currently are

If I succeed I would probably never do it again. Same with 5 man dungeon solo farming. As a result I am not very rich in game, but I am not doing hardcore raiding so that's no problem.

Just found out (by accident) that at the barov skip, there is a reset spot if you go left around the gate and straight into the corner. don't need to use vanish. Just make sure that the flesh hunter is on his way out to the right when you start the pull.

This corner: imgur.com/a/IgB18U9 Obviously, if you're too slow the mobs will still be in melee range to hit you even when in the corner. You must get there in time so they can't hit you. They'll just stand and watch you untill resetting.

If one of the first 2 mobs enrage, you cannot do the skip (save your vanish cd) and you can try to run out of the instance, but you will most likely die. This is why I wear few armor pieces to avoid durability damage. Go sub to Drast. My 22nd try I was able to pop barov and mount but barov vanished and then I got aggro, ran past by and still got hit on vanish. Wanted to give an update that worked for me for 2nd Skip. This is info is based on what I read on the WoW Classic Rogue discord but essentially once you get to the 2nd skip spot, if you pop evasion followed by Barov trinket and you see the furthest gladiator start charging you, you can LIP and then sprint. You want to sprint to the mid-way of the gate and pop vanish and get behind the pillar on the other side and this works. Thank you so much Zatar, I really learned a lot from your video as well as @Drast's. I think I died about 27 times before I got the hang of the pathways of the mobs, and how to effectively figure out the 1st and 2nd skip. Will come back here if I run into any other issues!

@@seredas right. So you want to do how Zatar did it. You want to pop evasion then barov and once the furthest glad pulls aggro and starts running at you, you want to pop LIP then sprint. Once you at the midway of the gate pop vanish and get to the other side. That worked for me.

Being now onto it for ~10hours. Got my barovs, enchanted the items, and safe to say: up to 2nd skip/3rd gate there is almost no way of dieing, but as soon as i try to do your 2nd skip, it gets extremely inconsistent. I stay exactly like you, but the vanish behind the gate doesnt drop aggro - out of 10 cases i'd say it doesnt drop 9 times, any idea?

@@Zatar Ah fuck i just deleted my message.. Short form again: I tried to copy your movements exactly, i find the correct spot so the barovs pull the gladiator, then the 2nd. The basic problem is, that the gladiator seems being to close to me when i vanish behind the wall - he either chases me or a barov and i simply can't loss on a consistent basis. I will test it today again - i have already 6-7 hours spent on that gate, learned all the patrols and whatnot. My thought process on the gates is as following: 1. When the first gladiator gets pulled AND i wait on spot, not moting, then i have a longer way to the gate. As soon as the 2nd gladiator gets chainpulled, i run to the gate, jump, demount in the air and vanish los as soon as i hit ground. Problem: It seems that after the first gladiator kills a barov peasnt, the 2nd gladiator readjusts his target, and chooses me most of the time - why does he do that? either it is random, or it is because i am the closest target he can pick. --> solution: after the first gladiator gets pulled, i either go closer, so that when the 2nd gets pulled i am closer to the gate and have a better vanish. OR: i wait a little bit longer, so when the first barov is dead, both gladiators take a new barov in target instead of me, leaving me enough room/time to get to the gate properly. Usually 1-2 barovs follow me pretty quickly and i can't manage to get soloely behind the door. 2. female orc? is it maybe a hitbox thing like with mage jumps? had no time yesterday but am gonna for a longer training session again today, trying to record and capture the learning process/mistakes that can happen cheers

Breesty I’m right there with ya some mornings I’ll make it to the farm 3/3 feeling cocky I’ll go live on stream and boom can’t seem to pass the barov skip lol I have noticed it is vital that you sorta jump the corner to los as doing such causes the barov if still alive to sorta of run to catch up with you but as you said it seems that one of them choose the barov while the other chooses me as next target causing them to be just a little bit passed the LOS wall and the catch me only fix to this I have found is if your engineer I’m using my battle chicken as well to buy myself alittle more time but this obviously requires engineering ( can prob use target dummies I just didn’t have any) and doing such if you fail with chicken it’s 30 min CD but yeah so far on my server acids vary in price and some idols are still worth 100g so it’s been worth it regardless of the deaths! Practice makes perfect right?

This is the enrage I referred to in the video. This is why I get naked, is maybe one in 10 pulls, on the first pack. That is what I'm talking about when I say there's a chance you die on the first pack, but the run back is only 1 minute.

@BananaBread you do not have to reset. The enrage duration will end, and next pull the mob will not be enraged, unless you get really unlucky. Small chance every pull it averages, but no reset is needed if it happens. Go again in 1 minute.

I am having a bunch of trouble getting my barov peasants to aggro the second gladiator pack, i either stand too far out and aggro them myself or too far to the wall and dont aggro at all, i just cant find the sweet spot. Tried alligning the shoulderpad with the wall as you did in the video. I am lost

Hitbox might be slightly different for non orcs. Try being further away rather than too close. Once on your Mount you can try strafing back and forward to get the barovs to move, only do this if the Gladiators have not aggroed after ~ 10 seconds.

If you pool before you mount, you can still do the skip with Sprint, you just need to wait for the second mob to Agro before sprinting by.

Also seemed to help by jumping on your mount like zatar around the corner and dismount+vanish at the apex of the jump to kind of wrap yourself around the corner and break LOS so they dont attack through vanish. So I can now do the 1st skip and the jump in a good fashion. I am trying to master the 2nd skip, I got my barov trinket. I align myself exactly like you do, mount up see I am good, de mount. The issue is I pop evasion then I pop Barov but it instantly pulls aggro before I can mount up and do the run. I am a Night Elf rogue. What could be going wrong here?

You can try and back up so the barov doesn't immediately pool. If the bear off does pool too early you still can make it, just make sure the second Gladiator pulls before you try sprinting past and Vanishing.

You need to get behind line of sight. They can see stealth.

You are too close, and you are pulling before you have time to mount up. This can happen though, and you can still make it. Just make sure the second Gladiator puls before sprinting past and vanishing

Nr gear is not really going to help, I would just be tanky enough to take one hit from the big guys if you run through and then use your DPS gear when killing the Slugs.

Larval acid can still sell but everything else is worthless. Larval acid usually sells pretty slow too. I would not recommend it anymore.

If they enrage you die, you won't be able to ride out of the instance before dying. Just take off most of your gear, don't use your vanish accept the death and come right back and try again.

Guess I have bad luck. I can't get to that room. Just died 10 times at the first door. When I do vanish far away they just keep going after me. You must have made 8k videos before getting one where you made it to the farm spot.

As long as the mobs do not in rage on the first pull, which they will get really big and run really fast, the first skip is 100% success. You have to vanish behind the rock like I do in the video because the Mobs Can see stealth

@@Zatar ok so I got that down finally, no problems with the wall skip. That 3rd door you have to get through is where I'm stuck now. As soon as barvo trinket the pull and I can't mount. If I am to close to the wall then they don't even agro when I use the trinket. Prices are so low on my server idk if its worth even trying it anymore. The amount of gold I have spent on repairs i don't think I would even make back. Thanks for the tip it helped out alot. GL to everyone that can make gold off this farm!

Literally nothing. Nothing is bind on pickup, so you can disenchant items on another character if you want.

This must have been patched, the gladiators on the first skip have bad RNG.. attempting this today and I've gotten by them twice... they have like a sprint ability and sometimes enrage off the bat and 1 shot you ez. Probably not worth the gold/hr with the major rng now.. guess it's back to DME. Also, if you do get past the first skip, the second skip just isn't working at all.. as soon as the gladiators aggro barovs it will interrupt your mounting.

6:30 I found a reset point left of this position. You can jump in the corner with the mount and reset the 2 guards from the beginning there by just running through. This saves vanish and I don't have to wait for the vanish CD for the 2nd. Pull. This saves time and I found it much more reliable that vanishing behind the corner. And if this pull fails when trying to vanish, you also need to wait 5 minutes again to try again. It really saves a lot of time especially if you have problems when doing it first. The only thing you have to keep an eye out is the pats that run on the left side. If its clear it's a cake walk. I made it 100% of the time if I don't die to the first hit of the guards, but having t2 gloves with riding speed is enough stamina to survive one hit with my current naked gear. 7:40 This jump is also possible to do with sprint. It's harder, but you can stay in stealth if you are too afraid of the patrol. But you might not have your sprint ready to make the 2nd pull a little saver.

Probably not. If they didn't patch ZG they won't patch this. You just have to make as much distance as you possibly can so that you're LoSing them when you turn around the cube, then vanish asap. Macro /dismount onto your vanish and spam the button hard right after you turn the corner. Stealth doesn't work on these guys so it will still count as them seeing you if they're too close when you vanish.

Well I don't know what's going on, but usually what goes wrong is the barroth either pull the Gladiators too fast, in which case you need to back up before summoning them next time. If the gladiators aren't pulling it all, you need to move closer. I really recommend memorizing landmarks to make sure you stand in exactly the same spot every time once you get it. Different races have different hitboxes, so the lineup might not be the exact same that I showed here.

I do think it's good for sword, but I have had the opposite experience. The set also felt poor on twin emperors and Sartura due to constant stopping and starting of attacks. Also my guild is using nr for viscous and huhuron, so I won't even use darkmantle on those fights. I am going to try and replace the gear as soon as possible. Luckily I got the AQ tier head, so once I complete the quest for that, I can take off dark mantle as a dagger Rogue. If you play sword though, it is great.

You can't make it past if they enrage, but that does not happen too often. If running straight through them is not working for you, try looping in the starting room like I showed for the second strategy. You also need to vanish exactly how I do, the earlier you do it usually the better.

If you're having trouble with the second pack, you can use a limited invulnerability potion to get the Gladiators to attack the barovs instead of you. I don't ever do this, the Strat I showed works for me but that is another option. For the first pack, you just have to practice kiting then in a circle. Once you get it down your 100% you're going to get past them unless one enrages.

You can skip this pack without barrows it's just less consistent and you'll have to use more consumes. Check the KZbin video Drast made (I pinned his channel in the comments)
