Nice video. One thing I'd recommend is use grid2 healing frames and put it centered low. Way less mouse movement and eye movement to see fight and frames.

were your melee not wearing NR on huhu? lol... also by the way, you should get and use elixir of poison resistance for visc, even though horde has it a bit easy with poison cleanse totem, it has a 3 sec cooldown so its much better thn antivenom ;)

Last rank heal, greater heal rank 1 and last. I rarely use renew, I leave it to other priest that has the improved talent from holy and stacks max bonus healing from gear.

What rank spells heal, flash heal and greater heals do you use? Also at what healing power are you? What do you recommend for ranks for healing power ~650?

If you have 650 healing and don’t have full t2 I would recommend: Rank 2/3 heal Rank 4/5 flash heal Max rank flash heal Max rank greater heal Then a couple different ranks of prayer of heal. After full t2 I use the following: Greater heal rank 1 Max greater heal Heal rank 2 Flash heal rank 4 Flash heal max rank. I only use max rank renew now as well. Found I only use it when moving or on fights where people take constant air damage.

TrufiGCD is the addon, in this video I used just max rank flash heal but now I'm using rank 3 and max rank, rank 3 healing less ofc but more spammable without going oom fast and it works fine I like it like this

Use heal instead of flash heal, but when u have 11k mana it is not neccessary I think.

Flash Heal is way more effective for this meta. When having so many world buffs and consumables + the super high raid damage, that keeps bossfights short you won't even go oom while Flash Healing. Chugging a Mana Pot here and there has become the norm as well in case you'd go oom otherwise. It's kind of different for smaller, more casual guilds or when you're struggling with going oom for whatever reason. You're right, that you then need to use the 5s rule while also efficiently downranking heal or greater heal in those cases. So a general "use heal instead of flash heal" assumption simply isn't true for classic anymore and highly depends on the raid.

​@@Bethekindestyoucanbe It still applies if you're trying to be mana efficient. The content you're doing doesn't change the fact you SHOULD be using heal over flash heal to be efficient. The issue is as you said the meta of classic. Guilds are bringing 10+ healers and it's almost impossible to actually use heal without being heal sniped by somebody spamming flash heal or a quicker heal from a paladin or shaman.

Back in the days I used an addon to heal the entire raid. It automatically selected the player from a priority list or the one with the lowest HP and selects an adequate rank of the heal. You seem pretty stressed healing everyone manually. I remember raiding was just clicking two buttons: autoheal and autodecurse

yeah that addon was nerfed think it was CT raid and Decursive but raiding priests were basically mash 2 buttons. 1 button would heal whoever and check at the last fraction of a second that he needed a heal or interupt it and the other cured disease or magic based on the addons priority for who needs it. Blizzard nerfed it as they should have
