Do they have that "They don't lose Pals if they die" setting toggled off. They may not want to risk losing their hard earned pals. Also, it sounds like they're all silo'd into different servers(Confirmed ID y because Kaela said so - and EN - because Shiori had trouble logging on the same server as Biboo and Bae a day ago - have their own servers listed for them) so unless they implement a way to jump servers, there's no way to make inter branch competitions for JP, ID and EN. It could still be fun with whoever's playing this though.
