Not only they have stars in different eyes ... They also have different eye colors and their names signifies the color itself . Aqua means water which signifies blue and ruby means a gem which signifies the color red itself . Funnily enough, Ruby and Aqua may not see eye to eye in how they follow Ai’s legacy but they do the exact same thing: they idolize Ai as an idol. Aqua never acknowledges Ai as his mother, he only acts as a fan who watched the person he liked die. and Ruby is obsessed with Ai’s life as an idol, following her footsteps despite knowing what lies in the end because of her ideal view of Ai.
