Aquaglide Blackfoot Chair Strap Instructions and modifications

Love my Aquaglide Blackfoot Angler 160, but was frustrated trying to fasten the seats to the teathers. We figured a modification that allows us to securely fasten the chairs within 30 seconds! This video gives detailed instructions on how to buckle, fasten, and modify the straps. Close ups for easy following!

I jsust got a 130, and the clips are all fixed in position, pointing down as you first point out. They are sewn in place and can't be removed without cutting them loose.

Can you talk about adding the mounts on the stern and bow. I managed to strip the threads and now I need to perhaps grind off and replace the rear mounting. So upsetting.

You might try permanent loctite 1st with whatever mount you are going to use before grinding! Hope this works for you!

Thanks for the tip! Wonderful. But eventually, I think AG has to make a change on its design. No matter how, it is still a pain to secure the seats.

Thanks for watching! In our review of the Blackfoot Angler, I think Matt mentioned what we did. If not, let me tell you! We went to Aquaglide’s website and went to the Blackfoot that we wanted, which was the 160, and near the bottom was a place where you can request that they email you when they are available. When they emailed us, as soon as we were notified, we clicked the link to add it to our cart that was in the email, it took us straight to checkout, and then they sent it in less than one week! Once they say they have them, there is no backlogs or any more waiting, it really is on the floor and they ship it FedEx!

On Aquaglide Website if you go into the Blackfoot 160 listing, there is a place to be notified when item is back in stock. You put your email address in and wait. Be ready when you get notified, probably only have 8 to 10 hours before they have sold out again. We got out in 3 days of buying. Aquaglide is that popular.
