That is one of the most impressive boats you've reviewed. Not about size, not about luxury, just about a boat that is truly built and set up for every eventuality. Cross the Atlantic? Let's leave tomorrow. Comfortable cabins, enough lounge/dining space for all. An excellent galley, a beautifully equipped wheelhouse and an engine room to die for on a boat this size (and puts to shame a lot larger boats). Value for money is astonishing. All I need is a couple of rugs for the floors and I'd be totally happy.

@@AQUAHOLIC some great KZbin channel references on "how to handle your Nordhaven" as well ("sailing MV Freedom) as these are capital intensive but true blue water motor and motorsailer vessels. By way of example the wing engine does not run on interior cooling and has a major design flaw in the cooling system that can all too easily and if not recognized/rectified flood your engine compartment "just for that time when you do in fact have that emergency" so not a small matter. This is quite the reasonable price for such a brand and excellent job pointing out how the idea of needing to change out the stuffing box was thought through in the design process/review/prior to the building process.

Been busy Nick and haven't had a moment to comment on my favorite manufacturer... A Few Thoughts: Nordhavns remind me of that girl in school who wasn't all frail and sleek - she was strong and fit and definitely not shy about mixing it up...! Classic Nordhavn kinda gal. "Swim Plaform"...? New Aquaholic policy: If you stand on it, and your toes dangle off the back... It can't be called a swim platform. Carry on sir. You walk on the aft deck... "Where's the fancy-schmancy lounges and table?" When one walks into the Main Saloon you are immediately aware of the extra space afforded by a lack of a port side walkway. Where's the Italian silk carpeting? (more on that later) Love the sturdy handrails throughout! What a stunning Bridge...! 57 feet and she looks like she's built to go anywhere and do anything. Downstairs is where you get to embrace how truly utilitarian she is...! Not a spec of carpet to be found. That's brilliant design. In the master, you didn't show us the TV, which I barely caught a glimpse of. The Bunk Cabin is perfect for just what it's intended for. ""Cocktail Break** The forward cabin could easily be the master in my opinion. The Heads... Fancy Italian bowl for a sink? Not for this girl. Love the upper helm too... Everything for a reason on this vessel. A sink to wash up with - in the engine room...?!? Classic Nordhavn. A single-engine yacht, albeit with a considerable back-up engine. She's not going to zip about the marina, but she WILL take you to marinas on different continents...! I would cut off my left pinky with a dull spoon for this boat...! She's "perfect". Yet another brilliant tour Nick. Cheers mate...!
