The galley is smaller than a closet bathroom. This a 79ft boat, but nearly all of that space is dedicated to what, five or six different seating areas? What they should do is blow out the fore wall of the galley where the stove/fridge/freezer is and extend it about five or six feet further into that sitting room, and throw in an island counter. Also, add some sliding doors or windows to the dining area so it can be enclosed on a bad weather day. Finally, that crew cabin isn't a cabin, it's just a bunkbed shoved down a flight of stairs. This doesn't look or feel like a yacht, it's a floating mcmansion.

Great tour as usual, Nick. I think it's a great "mini-super-yacht" creating expectations. Where I think it falls short is in two areas. 1) Galley - not big enough for this caliber of boat for either owner-operator, dockside catering or a chef. 2) Crew - The boat lends a feel for some extended cruising and the crew is good for a captain/spouse at best. I also think that a happy crew is essential. A wet head? That idea should be banned.

He did mention that they asked him not to film the engine room, so that _might_ have a _little_ to do with it. But, my guesses overall: 1) They're new to boat shows and aren't familiar with Nick/Aquaholic. 2) There were other people touring the boat at the time and the -stalker- gentleman following was acting as a buffer between the two groups. 3) When they say "No engine room" they mean "No engine room!" XD

No, that guy is clearly observing Nick. But that is something you often see in some videos. And if you going on board on a yacht yourself you were watched too very often. Its not nice and do not make you feel good but they just do. I guess sometimes they holding them self ready to answer questions. But mostly they take care you do not steal stuff, or using the toilet/shower or going for a nap inside the owner cabin.

I am appalled at your lack of hubris, and over-the-top self-promotion that is unacceptable, at-the-very-least you should have bottles of your Aquaholic labeled beer/wine bottles strategically placed in the galley and fridge. Very interesting layout although I can't say the exterior design grabs me. Sometimes these yacht designers want to be so different that they lose some practicality such as only having and external dining area. Despite it being under cover, would you really like to dine out there at night when the wind gets up and is pelting rain? Just saying! Maybe I am too practical. LOVE the rear lounge area.

I really believe 99% of the crew and caretakers of yachts at a show or otherwise are pretty nice and decent when it comes to displaying/showing it around. I really did not like that guy following Nick around suspiciously as if Nick was going to cause any troubles. His attitude was rude and clearly visible when he was in the master cabin and Nick had to cut the filming and abruptly return to the main deck. When you are at a boat show, people will and most likely, be interested to see everything that is on offer. Great KZbinrs like Nick are people who can advertise a yacht not even the manufacturers would be able to cover and show around so fantastically. Just for this reason alone, I will never be in a positive frame of mind when, and IF ever, I look at Arcadia Yachts. Nonetheless, thank you for the tour Nick~! :) Edit : @ArcadiaYachts : My shower is bigger than your kitchen space.

Quite an interesting yacht. Feels like somebody tried to make a house and fit it into a yachts shell. The design as in colors, furniture, etc is in my opinion quite frankly the best design i've ever seen without the slightest doubt. The design as in layout-wise is rather questionable but on the other hand it seems like we are used to THE standard boat so much that anything different seems out of place without an actual reason. And here's Bering 80 galley, for comparison to the Sherpa. beringyachts.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Bering-80-Galley1.jpg Dont think I have to say anything about that lol, the pictures speak for themselves

Great job Nick (particularly considering how busy it was), and an interesting craft to be sure, 'though not to my taste I'm afraid. Excessive outdoor space: Great for deck parties, not so much for cruising anywhere beyond 23.5° (N or S)! Insufficient indoor (daytime) space: Galley far too small for such a large boat, but the master cabin is very nice and I do like the addition of solar power. All in all it seems overly-expensive ('style over substance' unless the 'engine-room secret' is worth at least €1,500,000... Just my personal opinion)!

Very pretty, but not hugely functional. Mini- galley is inadequate. Crews’ quarters too close for comfort, no door, no privacy and access from helm is inconveniently located. Interesting design overall and some great features. But what about bad weather, dining in freezing rain outside? Galley is rather small, considering 8-10 people on board. All in all, it means it is a weekender and not a long distance cruiser for a 2-3 week holiday. Or alternatively, you enjoy stocking up on consumables every second day.

really interesting yacht for sure... although I have a few dislikes... one being the galley, omg that galley seems smaller on this 80ft boat compared to other 30ft yacht videos i have seen, yes i said 30ft.. the other dislike was the glossy affect of everything..., however i like practically everything else about this yacht, especially how ALL the cabins have only one stair case. Question, is it fully electric?

Baffled with this one, things I very much like but others that are so different, I love the concept of a new layout, and I think it works, but becuase its change, and dramatic, maybe its hard to get used to, overal I do think the yacht will be popular as it breaks the normal.....Really love the interior, cabins are amazing, modern, fresh, almost feels like a mansion on water. Thanks Nick

I Like the Style! And all is on board you need. Even the crew area is Ok. But the Layout.. Mää, to much of deck space at the aft. Just great if you are in sunny sees without a lot of wind. And for my personal taste, i like to have the bridge separated. No, the Layout is not mine. But without a question this is s beautiful yacht. Tastes are different.

Arcadia promotes this as 'Slow Yachting' where the craft is 'not' designed for any type of speed. Not a problem. Great looking craft. I, like others feel the downside is the galley ~

I actually clicked the like button for the channel because l did not want to put a dislike. However, having said that I don't like the layout at all. Stairs up and down as you step aboard, no not at all welcoming. Take me back to Sunseeker, Princess or Riviera.

Interesting but design not much benefit unless you’re in a warm part of the world. Annoying having the sales guys there all the time. It’s like they don’t want anyone to see the boat! Would be good to know what it’s like on the move. As always Nick, a good little video but would like a full aquaholic tour if you get the chance. :)

So tasteful! I love it. So many of these boats are *so* over-decorated and stupid. There’re some weird layout choices going on, for sure... but at least it’s not tacky or tired. I’m very happy not to see another starboard dayhead, port-side crew access layout, or something that looks like a warmed over Sheraton.

Being able to close off the rear dining area would be a big plus. Not using the solar panels to propel the vessel, even partially, is a missed opportunity. I wouldn't let those minor quibbles stop me from taking ownership though :)

These so-called "super-yachts" are too ostentatious for my taste. The layout is unusual and it all looks very pretty but I wouldn't like to sail a rough sea in one. Since I saw the Fleming boats, Nothing else will do. Nothing else even comes close. Not even this.

IMO It's vastly over priced .. even though it is very nice inside ..but for the size and price vastly over priced . For such a size . And as you have said they didn't want you to film the Engine room . That imo is a fail on there part . I know your far to generous to say that as i clocked the chap keeping his eye on you . Where in the Pre owned market you can easily buy bigger for less money . .

Very interesting boat. Kitchen seems tiny for the size of the boat, which is odd. I’d still love to spend a week on one cruising around at 10 knots somewhere hot and making the most of that outside space. Cheers Nick.

Sometimes being different is refreshing but I’m afraid for me I found the flow of the boat a tad confusing and parts of the lower decks seemed to lack natural light. Styling is a bit OTT for me but will suit certain tastes. Not sure about the look of the helm being further forward although it does allow more for greater use of space within the boat. . Give me a fly bridge any day.

Not really a boat for the Med is it. It rains in the med some days and this one is for where you have guaranteed hot sun EVERY DAY since the dining room is outside with no apparent way of closing it off. Sometimes I think designers can be just a bit too clever for their own good.

Some very interesting design features, but not for me. Galley is way too small, and I couldn't see an indoor dining area. Seems like it's design is more about effect than function. I was hoping for an interesting take on the trawler design but this is not it. I don't actually see a point to it. It's the Gemma Collins of yachts.

What I think is most „confusing“ is that the layout itself seems as if it almost completely designed for entertainment - eg partys in the evening or a weekend out on the sea …given that fact that the open area is really big = many guests can fit there I think the galley and the crew area are way too small to cater for 6 + people without creating a hectic atmosphere Idk just my thoughts - maybe it still works in the real world after all Anyways…great video as always !!

Overall, the design is amazing...the best part is the helm; finally - someone put the throttles next to the helm seat so you could sit and control them rather than having to get up and do it. All that said, despite the finish and some of the design elements, I really don't like the fact that so much is out in the open. This is really a boat for a niche climate and if it isn't warm and good weather, you've lost a lot of the deck space that you'd otherwise have in a conventional design. If they modified it to have sliding glass panels that would enclose it, that would be good. Also, the galley seems like an afterthought.

It is a bit different. My only concern would be the outdoor dining area. If there's weather, there is little protection and not much in the way of an alternative. Also, because it's enclosed, the galley does look a little small or claustrophobic. I really do like the solar panels. We need more of this rather than running generators all the time. But it is nice to see people trying something very different. I'm sure it will find its market.

No, the galley is a shoe box and looks as though it was designed last as an after thought.. Did not notice a door to the forward cabins and would not walk along those side deck passages in rough weather, everything was too shiny with nothing to hold onto.. would not be surprised if there were no engines. The design brief was - park it up and party and use outside caterers... But I must say, you are the best at these profiles... no music and to the point, well done.

Amazing colours and finishes. Looks very seaworthy. Lower power with more range would be my preference, as always, but I have to say, I do like this one. Not sure about that outdoor dining table. Not great at high latitudes, but then this isn’t really an explorer vessel methinks. Nice little ship. As always a great, great tour!
