I just got out of the theater whatching aquaman 2. When do you think the movie takes place ? Still before the flash or after ? His kid is not that old in the movie and the brine king said it took a year for his arm to come back after oriehm cut it off but it didn't say how long it had been since then. Personally, I believe Mamoa as Aquaman was a great twist to the character. Mamoa was refreshing and not a rehash. Sad DC just never figured it out because Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Mamoa were good picks. I still don’t understand how DC’s animation is great but live action is just there.

The Suits hire auteur or spectacle directors and A list actors, then get nervous as the budget spirals out of control and start interfering. Most of the writers don't read comics, except for a few they had to in college, so they don't have a clear understanding if the characters outside of a dozen or so graphic novels that are often atypical. Finally they abandon the pre-existing fans for markets that just don't exist. It's like they forgot happy comic fans *come back with normie friends*

I really liked how Dr. Stephen Shin seemingly following Manta Ray in the beginning, to turning around and following Aqua Man and his comrades towards the end. For me, the movie did leave me wondering what was to become of Manta Ray after Aqua Man offered to help pull him up from the crevice and Manta Ray refused; of course, this is a moot issue if there isn’t going to be any more Aqua Man Movies. But wait, Meera and Aqua Man have a child, and if that ages like normal children, then the problem is solved and as I recall in the comics, something like that did occur.

I wasn't angry about how the ending was done, I'm disappointed that it was the end of these versions of Aquaman. I've enjoyed Jason's version of the character way more than I ever enjoyed Ezra Miller's Flash. I'm disappointed that we won't get that 3rd movie now that Orm and Arthur are getting along.

It was good in its own way. But it lacked a flow or connection from the first Aquaman. First one, he was more serious, more attention to his powers and stuff like that,, not to mention, he was shirtless in many scenes. (That obviously helped the box office numbers) -Aquaman 2 , went directly to him acting like a goofy frat boy surfer dude.. I’m ok with lightening up his character a little and throwing some jokes , but it was like night and day from pt 1 to pt 2. (Not to mention, he wasn’t shirtless once which was a big mistake)

His two battle costumes, the regular yellow and green plus the blue appeared to have CG abs or were painted on. Honestly even Amber Heard looked like she’d gained weight as well in what few scenes we saw her in, so yea maybe the reshoots

TBH, I think the ending scene mirrors the ending of the first Black Panther as much as it does the first Iron Man. Both movies have the hero tell the world about the existence of the prospective homelands and both offer to share their technological advances with the world.

I was hoping for a King Shark cameo or at least a reference in the pirate scene 😢. Martin Short did some great voice work. I'm optimistic for James Gunns DCU. He is great at world building.

So my ending for the DCEU was that after Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom we would’ve gotten a live action Justice League Apokolips War movie, and at the end, Barry runs to restart the universe, and doesn’t have enough speed, so the rest of the League comes with him and gives him a boost. While doing that the ripples of time from Barry running through to restart the universe pushes through them all and you see them become the previous actors who have played them, the League doesn’t notice it but us as the audience does. The movie ends with them recreating a big bang it becomes a white light, and you hear Superman say “I love you Lois” and then it pans out to space and the Earth 🌏 explodes, and then the rest of the universe. The credits roll, and post credit scene is suddenly the movie pauses, pans out to 3 figures watching this happen on a small 24 inch tv 📺 and it’s Constantine, Phantom Stranger, The Question, and The Spectre all there. Constantine says “What the Fuck was that?” Phantom Stranger responds “ That is your universe, it is over and has been restarted John” Constantine “Just like that, neither of you could’ve intervened, How about The Monitor or Lucifer??” The Question responds “John it’s over, there is no going back, the only thing we can do now is prepare for the new universe” Constantine says “New Universe?” The Spectre responds “A new universe with a new group of heroes and they will need you both” Constantine looks confused and Phantom Stranger snaps his fingers and the screen goes black

I just saw the movie today and I enjoyed it very much. I'm glad they didn't kill Arthur Jr. There were a few minor points (special effects on three scenes needed tweaking and not enough use of certain female characters) but nothing to dramatically complain about. Having Arthur and Orm working together was great and should be continued. I'll give it 4/5 stars. There is a scene where Aquaman is chilling while riding a motorcycle and I could easily see Jason Mamoa playing Lobo.

It was a great movie!! Sad to see the universe go. Tons of potential. I think there were too many cooks in the kitchen metaphorically speaking but perhaps they learned from this mistake . Assuming that was the case

I like the video. This sounds ok….However when it comes to Superman: Legacy- I think they need a couple of more characters since I do not think (from Flash) we have enough people to physically harm Brainiac. First, find a way to get Static Shock. It could rival Spider-Man and he could break the fourth wall like Deadpool (it would be hard to get him). I think they need Martian Man-Hunter or Deadman to either get inside him to know his plan or to control him to by time for Super-Man or Super-Girl to get a few punches on him. I think if you do not want them; then there is the Atom. He could be used like Martian or Deadman uncover the truth about Brainiac’s true intentions. Then, I think they need more fire power like a Captain Atom since we want to be realistic in terms of everyone’s power levels (even though all of this is fiction). The heroes in this movie, in my opinion, are not enough unless you nerf him in the movie and that would suck. Mr. Terrific and Metamorpho are cool characters but would do nothing to Brainiac unless for Defense (even though that would not work either). Then, you have Guy, Hawk-Girl, Super-Girl, Engineer and Super-Man all of them are strong but if the original Justice League had problems with Brainiac then this team would too. I hope this movie does not bomb or kill off Brainiac. This is just my perspective on this movie. Great video. Bye

I wish they could have done this for post credit if Gunn, WB, and DC actually went through the Crisis On Infinite Earths. Oliver/Spectre watching DCEU earth where he jokingly says that it doesn't matter what universe Barry always messing up with timelines and Ezra's Barry he won't able to go back to his earth instead hes stuck in an alternate DCEU earth but also created a new earth/timeline where everything has been reset. This won't stop the another Crisis On Infinite Earths caused by anti life equitation of the multiverse to reshape it under rule of a god like being called Darkseid. Oliver/Spectre plans to recruit every hero from multiverse but he's going to need help which he turns to Barry (Gustin), Supergirl (Benoist), Sarah, Constantine (Ryan), Superman (Welling), Batman (Keaton), or whoever you choose to help him find these paragons from each multiverse to help defeat Darkseid but first they need to recruit DCEU Justice League (Snyder JL) since they are on Darkseid list to destroy first after they killed Stephen wolf and prevented him from getting anti life equitation.

My only issue was, at the end where Arthur kills Cordax with Atlan's trident, it makes you wonder why Atlan didn't do that in the past and instead opted to only imprison them. Is it because it was his brother an he couldn't do it? Someone else could have made that decision for him, Cordax was clearly too dangerous.

Haven't seen 2, but he was about the best part of 1, they wrote him dead on, got the perfect actor and did not shy away from a potentially silly costume and made it almost scary. Seeing Black Manta live action was the whole reason I even watched the original, though. Not sure if I'll do the second. Not a huge fan of Mamoa as Aquaman, plain can't stand Heard, I thought she was obnoxious long before the Depp thing. Can't wait to see Mamoa do Lobo, though. He's perfect for that.

Its sucks they didnt put more into the ending. You can tell Jason wasnt as excited this time to do the promo's. I'm sad and over it. I think the DCEU was headed in a good direction had they stucked to it. I'm not confident in WB. Its like a few years they have a shake up and change gears. Hopefully going forward they can finally stick to a plan.

I think Jason wasn't that excited because of everything hanging over the film, with it being the last movie which is something not planned but instead was cut short of its potential 3 film arc. And also with Patrick Wilson taking the secondary leading role part from Amber Heard because of her controversy, it was just Patrick and Jason promoting the film. Seeing the two of them together just made everyone think of the other behind the scenes problem the film had with all the reshoots to cut Meera mostly out.

Without Henry Cavill as Superman, DC has lost its charm for me. And I don't understand why they didn't at least continue Zack Snyder's Justice League, because everything looks amazingly good. Zack Snyder's Justice League story had to be finished.

DCEU should have said goodbye and thanks just like Endgames' ending. It would have been nice to say thanks to those who worked hard and were screwed by things out of their control. I personally would have loved to have seen Snyder's complete DCEU vision. The good guys losing and you knowing another movie will fix it is always a winner at the box office.

Actually, there is a DC movie coming out in 2024, it's Joker: Folie a Deux And I feel like the ending of Aquaman 2 was more like the ending of Black Panther than Iron Man, with him revealing Atlantis to the United Nations just like T'Challa revealed Wakanda

I liked the character arcs (especially Orm) but the whole story was just rushed, especially the end where it had like no climax at all.... The movie had potential but they would have needed more screen time.

Honestly I liked the Aquaman 2 movie for what it was. The post credit scene seemed fitting since it was the end of DCEU run. There was no need to make that scene into a teaser. The movie felt like they tried to not too leave any loose ends because this was the end for them so of course we got the everyone is happy ending and the main villain is killed quickly. Never to be seen again.

This movie was better than the reviews implied. It did feel like something was missing and it was Meras awkward showing. Understand why they went that way but the product wasn’t as good because of it. But other than that it was pretty good and I did enjoy the post credits lol

Personally, I believe Mamoa as Aquaman was a great twist to the character. Mamoa was refreshing and not a out because Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Mamoa were good picks. I still don't understand how DC's animation is great but live action is just there.
