I like that we get to see Arthur learn how to use Mera’s powers (with Mera’s help) to save people as well as providing a short explanation of how Arthur became king again. I also like that Arthur explained the JLU what has happened to the people of Atlantis and how it’s connected to the pearl. Jeremy Adams has done a good job with Arthur and his new status quo. Let’s hope that he’ll make his Aquaman run good and interesting and eventually become a family comic, like his Flash and Green Lantern runs. Overall, this comic is good and off to a good start!

I’ve never appreciated why ppl find AM to be laughable. Always found the character formidable and one of the most unique on the team. Sadly I feel it’s because DC doesn’t respect the character therefore comic readers/comic fans don’t. Full time they show respect to the other guys by writing them with amazing stories and more character development.

Remember when aqua man could fly? Straight up, he use to fly. Some one once told me the reasoning was he had all the powers of Poseidon or other ocean gods so one of them granted aqua man flight. I personally wish he still could. He doesn't really need it, but it'd be a cool thought
