Off topic: what can be done about milia around the lip line at home.

Hi there! Thanks for your comment. I believe there are things you can do to minimize the chance of milia forming, mainly keeping up with a good chemical exfoliation regimen daily. Do you currently use any chemical exfoliants? Like, glycolic or lactic acids? salicylic acid is specifically to clear out pores, but that is usually best for open comedones, like blackheads. Milia have a layer of keratinized tissue closing the pore that needs to be broken through. Aside from lancing this tissue to squeeze the contents out (which I don’t really recommend unless an esthetician or dermatologist does this for you), chemical exfoliants can help slough off the top layers enough to possible extract them on your own at some point.

But, I think keeping up with chemical exfoliants that are meant for your skin type is the best bet to keep them from forming in the first place. @@linnpill4381 😆 I do talk pretty fast. It’s the Chicago Italian in me, don’t think I can do much about that, even when I make a conscious effort to slow down.

@@lornakurien7962 My advice would be to try it for yourself and see if it does make a difference on your skin. Admittedly, the difference is seen much more in person than on camera.
