How wonderful Ryo! Aquarium Co-op has been so instrumental to so many hobbyists and Cory is so genuine and shares so much love and knowledge.. not to mention all the folks he has affiliated with him. He has gathered some really great individuals who truly care about us hobbyist! I won a $50 gift card from @Caylor's Aquatics from @Aquarium Co-op! I ordered some of sponge filters, they are wonderful!... I personally love the green color too (I actually saved the boxes 😁 💚) somewhere I heard that his puffer fish is actually based on his original puffer named "Hank" I believe.. but, that was before my time, so I only know and love "Murphy" You know I always enjoy your videos!! You're doing an amazing job! Thank you for sharing! Have a very blessed day! 💚🌱🐟🌿💚🙏

Love this! Cool Crypts Ryo. Also excited for this potential 'mascot fish'. Seeing how the COOP is supporting other KZbinrs really makes me happy about my membership with them. Keep doing fun stuff and maybe give your feedback about the noise level with the new air pump and filter setup. Something I am always concerned with with my tanks is how loud the filters are so I would be interested.

The fish room is coming along splendidly! I'd love to hear your honest review of the sponge filters after they've been up and running a bit longer. I just converted my fish room over to only sponges and absolutely love the ease and simplicity of maintenance. I bought my filters from a different company and got about 2/3 fine foam and 1/3 coarse foam filters (although my coarse foam still looks a bit finer than Cory's). I have since realized I hate the coarse foam and have been working on replacing them. Even with weekly cleaning, the coarse filters just make a huge mess when pulled out of the tanks, and they don't polish the water as well. Everyone has different preferences though, so what works for me might not be what works for you. I'm q bit of a neat freak, so not everyone is as bothered by this as I am.

To get plants to grow faster and healthier, if you have some live stock in there to produce the ammonia will then eventually turn into nitrates which the plants will use and flourish, how many hours of light are you providing?
@brianmarshall17624 жыл бұрын
That hint about drilling the holes before gluing the PVC pipe in, makes so much sense. I’ll try and remember that when I eventually get a fish room set up.

Your setup is looking really sharp, professional. I was hoping you'd record yourself putting the pipes together. I think it would have been informational to us who've never put a system like yours together so that we'd get a truer picture of the amount of work that went into putting the system together. Then I thought, shouldn't you have pre-drilled your pipes before gluing them together? Seconds later you mentioned it yourself. You mentioned algae was starting to appear in your tank. I thought maybe you should at least put shrimps in the tank to control that issue. But I then thought maybe you wanted to keep the tanks strictly for aquatic plants. Did you mean to have your tanks for the plants alone? I wish you well in the creation of your whole system, both the air flow system and the living components of the system.

Dude, just a bit of constructive criticism. Please shade those windows (atleast when filming) and try to turn on the aquarium light when filming (or film when lights are on). I think this will automatically help improve the quality of your videos a lot. Now with all the reflection and glare and exposure ping-pong is really annoying. It doesn't really do justice to your M50, nor to your subscribers. Just think about it.
