How do you keep the soil from not falling into the sand in the long term? I know you can use pieces of corrugated plastic to hold the banked substrate up. But what about the cracks in the rocks? I did this in my scape but the soil fell thru the cracks and ended up covering alot of the bottom and then the banked substrate fell with it. Didnt ruin it but made a total mess that I cant repair. I'm about to do a total rescape.

If you had explained EVERYTHING about the creation of your beautiful aquarium, it could have been The best! i mean ALL the aspect, all the steps... surely it could be useful for many people that, ( like me) want to begin and dont know almost anything ( or just a little like me). This is an old video (my start on youtube). At the time, I wasn't really experienced with aquascaping .. I'm not an expert now, but I know a little more than I did then. So my recording, editing and video-making experience was really bad back then. Anyway... Hardscape is dragon stone and river sand, substrate is tropica aquarium soil.
