Is there any plants I can use without using the co2? I'm beginner, and about to start

🤔The two males will chase her and stress her to the point if death. They really need a separate tank. They will out grow the one they are in within a years time. They can get between 6” and 8” on average.

At first glance, everything is beautiful and smooth. but. In fact, any more or less experienced aquarist will immediately see critical errors. The first is a few bushes of ocelot echinodorus in the background. This plant grows both in width and height, it is not for this 36 cm high aquarium. The second is staurogin repens - he needs a living space for growth, and he was pinned down by a snag and pinned by a groundcover plant - Monte Carlo, he will have nowhere to grow. And the third is pisces. You launched the hydrobiont immediately after launch - they are all suicides and victims of your carelessness. You have created a beautiful picture for uncomprehending people and pushed them to repeat your mistakes. After all, judging by your video, everything is simple. I stuck the plants in and launched the fish. No one canceled the nitrite peak in the second week of the aquarium's life and algae outbreaks in the first two months of biobalance adjustment.

My tank looked nearly that bad with some hair algae, but was loaded with brown algae mostly. I fought it for a month & then it suddenly went away on its own & it finally settled into a pristine, black water tank that while it's loaded with tannins, it's basically liquid rock. I think that's due to the seiryuu stone. I removed all but 1 2x2" piece & it was still liquid rock until I added 5 dried, oak leaves a week later & now it's sitting around 7.2, which is progress... =p (ETA: no filtration. Natural, planted tank with only 1 dose of liquid fertilizer to kickstart some floaters.)

My God I just finished the video... I still can't stand the fact that you destroyed the tank... Funny and sad simultaneously. I would even give some water lettuce to cover the tank, turn off the filters and that would be more than enough...

I can't believe you don't know that this type of algae grows only in places with strong water current. Just turn off your filters and remove all the bubbles. You will be able to remove all the algae with your hands and the remaining will just die. In my pond there are always string algae in the waterfall but never in the pond. One day I brought a stone full of this algae to my aquarium of danios, which doesn't have any kind of filtration except plants. After some days the algae detached from the stone by itself and I just removed it just like spaghetti... And never again. Your tank obviously has a strong current and the algae loves it and will not stop growing.

Clean the wood that much makes no sense at all. As if mother nature wash pieces of wood before throwing it in the lakes and rivers... Peope should be learn not to be afraid of bacteria. But looks good overall...

Beneficial bacteria in the water? Don't they grow stuck on surfaces? It is always better to put some object from another tank, a stone of plant which already has them in it, and just let them multiply.

Hey! Just thinking about buying this filter for my 200l aquarium. I'm disappointed with eheim so I'm looking for something else. This filter looks like the best to buy option considering the other products. Not sure if the 1500 is enough for the 200l or I should go for the 2000. And is there eny experience what is the differenece in noise? Is the 2000 much louder than the 1500?

Thanks for posting but next why not post more videos in how you truly started to understand how algae works in aquariums & how to "deal with them" and succeed without a mass unrooting & kill most of established tank. Many aquascapes from MD Fishtanks to George Farmer or Green Aqua all show how they deal with certain algaes and either add Amano shrimp, guppies, algae eats, pletcos, ottocynclis fish. Lower light intensity, lessen light directions. Add less liquid fertilizers to water column. Do more 50% water changes all to regain balance in a tank that is out of balance etc Anyone can plant a nice tank day 1-14. But most don't realize that aquascapes that use Rich substrates need to do 50% water changes first 7 days then 35% week two then 25% weeks 3 & 4. Some do not even use liquid fertilizers until after day 30. Many experienced aquascapes only show beautiful day one then onto new scape.

I thought the tall plant (crypt. b.) you used was the same one I have that grows so tall. I have one in my tank very similar to that crypt but it multiplies by sending runners..that I can transplant. I just can't remember what it is and i haven't run across it yet. It looks the same as yours but think the leaves are less undulating, but it's just as tall. Maybe it's a type of sword plant.

Thank you for the unboxing and setup. I've only ever used HOB filters and I want to get the Oase FiltoSmart Thermo 200 for my next planted 15Gallons. With your experience on it, do you think the ajustable water flow can be gentle enough for a half-moon betta? I'm sure I can make it work if I angle the outlet on the glass but I would like some input if you have any. Thanks!
