I watch this every time I sew on a binding. Your description of how to put the beginning and ending of the binding is excellent. I can ever remember which goes on the bottom and which on the top. Your tip to make sure the binding strip is taught is so important. Thank you!

Hello and thank you for the tutorial. Just one question. You mentioned in part 1 that you use various width (2, 2.25, 2.5) binding depending on the project. When you attach the binding to the front of the quilt do you always sew a 1/4 inch seam or use a wider seam allowance on a wider binding strip?

I am a new subscriber and new quilter. Do you have a video showing how to hand stitch the binding? I just love this little quilt.
