That’s actually the case for Wanderer. All his best supports are actually C6 4* and any 5* that can actually support him are often sidegrades.

Well, these days abyss are significantly harder for new players, or early ar 50-60 players i don't blame them. I was able to 36 the abyss since hutao first came out as f2p, but the hardest enemies back then were a piece of cake.

You're right, another case of building all the 5* but the 4* support characters and sets are still a work in progress. And the em focused characters (anemo dendro and electro) should be 90! Amazing attempt nonetheless 🎉

That's normal for AR 55 don't worry, there's a huge difference between AR 58 and AR 55 in terms of time and investment! I cleared for the first time at AR 56 and 36 starred for the first time at AR 57!

AR 55 aswell and I was stuck on 10-3 until a learned a little bit on how to group the enemies without a grouper then I 9 stared floor 11. I'm now going to sleep in the artifact domains for a couple of months before entering floor 12 lol

Ar 57 here, i have the worst fucking luck of all Genshin, im not kidding, as stupid as it sounds, it took me four months to get a decent crit circlet and it doesnt have er, i basically have to choose between dealing decent dmg or ulting every rotation

I’m also AR 55, just started in march, but I’ve been somewhere in floor 12 the last few abyss cycles. I invested vertically in an ayaka freeze team (just got kazuha, such an improvement) and a nahida/kuki/XQ hyperbloom core. Vertical investment in 2 good teams with some supports built at least 70/80 and leveled talents makes a huge difference. As long as your on fielder has good artifacts and your supports talents are leveled with the right main stats on artifacts, you will definitely be able to clear floor 11. I think floor 12 will forever be a struggle for new players that don’t have many characters and good artifacts yet.

I somewhat agree with you, however i think u have warped perception of lv 90 characters. It is true that char that do the majority of their dmg through trasformative reactions greatly improbve their dmg and char that do additive reactions and def/hp scalers receive a good boost too, but normal atk scalers don't really gain much for the cost it has, and is a lot better focus those resources in artifacts and weapons to lv 90. I too started playing in may 2021 and reached ar 60 (it was before Sumeru) with only my anemo chars at lv 90 and had no problem with abyss (to be fair rn with some dendro and hyperbloom/burgeon triggers i too would advice to level them to 90). My point is: bennett and XQ don't have to be 90, is better to use resin on leveling Fischl and Kuki and farming artifacts than leveling to bois to 90. Btw correction: Fischl is only really broken in aggravate when she's paired with a on field electro dps, bc with Alhaitham her A4 can't proc, so she's a better pair with on field yae (and trust me even if u dont want to play ur yae on field u gonna spend a lot of time on field "emerging" and "right hering")

Bennett should definitely be 90 tho. His healing and atk buff will increase significantly. Xingqiu not so much. Even mine is still at 80. Also i am just stuck with a c4 fischl for like a year now. Every banner she's on, I'm not pulling. I want her c6 so bad but sadge.

Sorry but not leveling your characters to 90 while getting depressed everyday for artifacts is just bad advice. Level>Talents>then you can go farm artifacts until the end of time. Leveling to 90, no matter how small the stat increase, is still an improvement compared to spending thousands of resin for garbage artifacts.

​@@Goobrino i do lvl some support characters to 90 but i have never really cared to go beyond 70~80 on most of them, and i have never really struggled as much consdering my stats are pretty high and the talents are already at 8, and i havent missed a single 36 stars since the first 4 month i started playing. I do admit that you need to build your supports the best you can, but really going beyond 80 isnt going to matter that much in most scenarios, and imo the reason he cant get 36 stars as easy is mainly because there are no actual teams build there, there are characters build up, but since the supports arent there they dont have any form of team building, rather than just blaming the lvls, its more of investing building them with correct stats. Also, this is outside the team building, im kinda sure the acc owner have actually never really tried as much to clear the abyss, he got the characters and enough artifacts to be able to clear it with at leat 33~34 stars, so i dont even think its an skill issue, its more of a time and importance issue for them, they probably never really cared to clear the abyss in the first place thinking it was too difficult for them and now that the abyss actually got to a most "difficult"(annoying i would say) state, then of course they will struggle even more

I'm a low spender, and I think what helped the most is the guides from KZbin. When I had so many fragile, I found eakes' domain tier list and farm the sht out of top 3, I have like 40 each of the artifacts (6 kinds).

It took me a year and half to clear Abyss 12 for the first time and I still remember that I cleared it for two stars. By then I was hating Abyss like nothing else and only forced myself to do it for the achievement. Not too long before that, I had problems even with floors 9 and 10 and I never cleared floor 11. I got better since then and I am 36-starring the Abyss for at least half a year now but I still don't really like it and I still struggle a lot with floor 12. But at least I got decent characters now and it's mostly skill issues what's keeping me back.

As an Ar 59 player who started building my supports at Ar 58 after realizing how much supports help, has gotten me so far. Granted right now I can only 32 stars, my 5 stars are pretty good and well-ly built. Supports are sometimes better than your 5 stars and putting them together will help so much!

Watching this video just proved to me that when people claim abyss is easy and have the “all you need to clear” character lists that it’s complete bs. Artifacts make or break your characters. You can have all the best characters and weapons but with how trash the artifact system is in this game unless you have broken pieces it’s not easy. I'm AR 58 and haven't cleared abyss. I choose characters based on whether I like their personality, design, voice, etc. and ended up with too many supports and only one five star dps (itto). I use 4 star dps (like yanfei) but they just don't have the same damage and need more investment. I hope the next 5 star characters coming up have dps kits!

There’s a lot of team comps you can work with. Floor 12 1st half is more AOE heavy than the 2nd half. Because 1st half has various dendro-resistant enemies, aggravate teams will have the upper hand over spread teams. The 2nd half is definitely elemental check, burgeon teams will do nicely in this side. Team examples: 1st half: Aggravate Keqing (keqing-fischl-yaoyao or kirara-kazuha), also besides aggravate you can run the usual Rational (just be careful in 12-3-1) or Freeze team (ayaka-shenhe-mona-kazuha) 2nd half: Nahida National (nahida-xingqiu-bennett-xiangling), Hu Tao Burgeon variant

Some players use different teams for each chamber. They clear level 12 once before the timer ends, then they redo it entirely with a specific team for each chamber to get the 3 stars.

Lucky for me that I invest more on sub dps and support characters to the point that I still don't have a true main dps till now. I use Nahida, Fishcl, Kuki, and Yao yao at First team. Xingqiu, Xiangling, Jean and Bennett on second team. It take me 6 months in able for me to 30 stars the abyss. I started 6 months ago. I am pulling for Alhaitham now in 50 50, but if I lose it, I prefer Diluc or Tighnari as my main dps. Now, I am pulling for 2 main dps for my account.

I believe I already build quite adequate array of character dps, support, heal, shield role and i do believe i have enough artefact than can be swaped if needed with some spare havent completed nahida and just got kuuki so not touched yet (given since i am mostly hiatus for almost a year) yet i never cleared abyss 36 star. 34 star is my maximum but probably that was because i played with bad ping in bad laptop that delay my action do to delay because of late loading. (last time i played "seriously" was up to yelan release) i now have new good laptop but the way abyss now, i stoped my self at floor 11 and begin question myself.. is it really is skil issue?
