I Took a Racing License Test! Did I Pass? Today we're building my Toyota GR86 Race Car, building it from a Toyota GR86 Road Car and turning it into a Track Toyota GR86! We then enter Racing School at Calabogie Motorsport Park! Can I Pass?

The little racing car at 17:00 is called a Legends Car, they are used on entry level dirt oval racing, they are powered by a Yamaha bike engine, they are REALLY cool!

You are correct but more common on asphalt, legend cars are where a lot of big name nascar drivers first got their start!

That’s amazing that you got your racing license and showing the progression from buying the car, getting the parts, installing them, and following the course. I’m thinking about getting my racing license in a later date since I’m also enjoying playing racing games too. So maybe in the future, if I make a name on KZbin and you would like to have a friendly 1v1, I’ll be down. But I still need some cash for my Ultima RS, since I like this kit car brand ever since Forza Motorsport 4 and Horizon 1. I thought they went bankrupt back in 2012.

I would recommend mounting the camera a bit higher on your helmet or somwhere back on the seat/rollcage like you already have. The problem with current helmet mount is that the steering wheel covers the car in front of you and it looks like you’re battling yourself😂 Great to finally see you on a proper racing course

At 17:00 that's what they call a legend there 1200-1600cc Yamaha bike engine in a sheet metal tube frame car with massive tires there used in dirt oval racing leagues but they are a popular track car nowadays just gotta do some suspension changes

I'm thinking you should see if you can race in the Freedom 500 sometime, you could get used to the feeling of racing on a circle track and close-up fender-to-fender spatial awareness, and in getting used to taking hits and keeping the car straight. Though, I don't know how easily you could get on down to Florida, but I think it'd be quite entertaining to watch as you apologize like a proper Canadian for each bump and overtake and/or accidental-but-very-fitting Crown Victoria pit maneuver XD PS, I get the feeling you only get skill issues in games and not IRL, since your driving talent and senses don't seem to translate to a non-immersive digital experience :P Your real life skill issues in racing seem to be a simple overcautious nature, which is a very good thing to have since you're learning to approach the limits from the safe side rather than a need to learn to slow down and be cautious enough to not overcook every turn, frankly I'm the former and the latter in one package lol, I get overcautious when unused to any vehicle be it a car or a go-kart, and once I get confident I swing past the limit and overcook it XD I'm still so unused to real cars though that aren't classics that I can't drive. Enough that I let my license expire. Oops. But congrats on your racing license! I'm stoked to see your journey to become a big name in the racing world!
