@a_catfish5180 it could be an optional setting if you want to see other players' engines or not, and as for engine modelling, even if they look similar it would be better than having no models in freeroam. The general community has asked for this sort of feature for ages

You can on an old version with a bavkport available. You can also mod the db for the older versions basically just like the dev build

And just a quick reminder that the exterior model is from FM1, the interior is from FM3, and the wide body has been on the car since FH3

on top of that, many models in this game are either from Forza Motorsport (2005) or Forza Motorsport 4 (2011) and while on the surface they don't look bad, if you are more into cars you can definitely tell these models are dated in terms of incorrect features and detail placement. Reusing assets isn't a bad thing, but if they are from 15+ years ago you have a problem. I love the Forza games for what they are, but the quality control problem at Playground and Turn 10 is a big issue, even for rest of the Xbox developers in general.

Arizona here and I’d say 85-90k single …. I make 60k and barely scrap by alone rent is 1300$ for 1 bedroom in a bad area if you want to live in better area like a small condo ya 80k minimum and not talking houses …. Average mortgage in Arizona is 34-3800$ that’s the “average” with 7.5-9% interest on houses and now there doing “40 year loans”😂😅

You see because the engine is basically a png file, that means you get all the benefits of a normal engine but it will weigh just as much as the size of a png file, which is basically nothing Even more extreme weight reduction

What I can't understand is that they have the engine modeled cause you can open the hood when looking at the car, so why did they put a png of the engine instead of just taking the hood away??

Because in older games, the car would get damaged a lot more when crashing, like entire bumpers flying off, and windows would shatter a lot more than they do now. Some cars would have the hood dented up a bit for front impacts, showing a bit of the inside of the engine bay, so they used this texture so it wasn’t just a black void. It’s just a leftover texture from when the damage system was better, as this model is pretty old. Also, the models when driving are not the same models when inspecting cars. They’re significantly lower quality.

Forza horizon has been around for how long and they still have issues like that? And the lack of customization that they have? Lack of new cars? It’s as if they had the whole team develop the base game, then left two people to come up with any and all extra content. Forza stopped being worth a shit after the second horizon lol
