Hey! Original finder of the Null car glitch here! (airshxp, you might recognise my gamertag haha). You mentioned no one has been banned for driving the null car, and this is true due to the code not letting you keep the car as well as it just being practically a livery you downloaded from someone else. However, you CAN and WILL be banned to this day for uploading the livery to the design hub, as i did when i uploaded the original livery. I mean, i had it up for a while, but as soon as the big youtubers found out like ericship, ar12, monster etc they made vids on it and then forza caught on from there haha. Thankfully there’s still plenty of awesome people who keep the null car on the storefront so we can still keep enjoying it to this day :)

hey, owner of one of the OPI Ford GTs here, it actually IS unique from the standard, though in 2 keys differences: you cannot increase the tire width, but in return, the Ford Mustang RTR block can be swapped into it, thus allowing it to reach X-Class. the standard Ford GT cannot get past S2.

I got mine along with the Ford Hotrod and the Pagani Zonda Oreo through logging in to my laptop for the first time. I was only able to drive them on the laptop but not on the console. They still appear in my garage, but I can’t use them or view them on Xbox. I didn’t use any hacks at all either.

The Null Car is also in Forza Horizon 5. I drove it after the update with the new Countach and BMW. The files for those cars were corrupted and was replaced with the null car. I fixed it by checking for corrupted files through the steam helper (or whatever)

@ I can actually go into more detail. Only the model and driving characteristics were affected; The name still remained as “Lambo Countach”. The wheels turned invisible when in motion. The car did not take physical damage when turned on. When I was against the ghost for rivals of the Lambo of that season, the AI model was of the “Null Car”.

The null car had existed as a placeholder car for a damn long time, I can personally account seeing it back in Forza Motorsport 3 on the 360 in multiplayer lobbies because I was a kid without access to the paid dlc. So instead of seeing the dlc cars, I'd see the null car instead. I remember the null car in that game was the VW Bora. It probably existed earlier as well

​@@ShadowRacing Yeah, it has happened within a year after FH4's release. I was doing this thing for fun, because heard that cheaters loved to transfer unfairly obtained cars through auction house. I was sooo excited when after a few days of grinding the 911's picture have popped up on the screen! But I've already forgot, whether the successful attempt of actually buying the lot was the first or the second one. Most likely that I've missed my first opportunity, but this proved me that it was absolutely possible. Great car BTW, a lot more useful than the Mclaren IMO, the dark horse of FH4's X class.

To answer your question at 7:32: They didn't remove it because they don't care. Just remember that the brand logo for the DMC used to be the old Citroen logo way before they even added the Citroen DS, which uses a slightly newer version of the logo now, making the inclusion of the old one even weirder. Also the unused wrestling story 205 Turbo 16 is still listed in Horizon Promo alongside with two unused Volkswagen Beetles

another car i’d like to add to this is the austin taxi hs. this version of the taxi was only playable in the isha’s taxis horizon story, and features a bodykit with 500mm rear tires, on top of also receiving engine swaps no other car in the game has, like the 1750hp funco engine. like the owens, it is bannable to have it in your garage

I remember when I had the null car, it was just a split second. It was when I was playing the Lego expansion and I believe a barn find or a Lego car glitched in Forzavista. As soon as I left forzavista, it returned to the normal car.

Fun Fact: The Null Car originally appeared in fh1. If you played online there was a car called the null car and DLC cars appeared as the null car for people who didn't own the dlc car.

I tried the Null Car in FH4 recently. Bought it, upgraded it and logged off still inside of the car. I started the game back up and it loaded me into another car I had in the garage, but the Null Car was gone. I was able to get it to around 1300 HP and 265 top speed. Spent about $160k for everything. It wasn't a bad car to race around with on the highway for a little while though.

For a start, the deal only existed in USA. And secondly, most people in USA probably didn't purchase the nail polish. I did a poll of my channel recently and only 14% said they had it. The people who watch my channel and voted on the poll are generally speaking the more hardcore Forza audience too, so if you factor in the casual Forza audience who mostly wouldn't have cared about the OPI Edition, I imagine it's less than 5% of players who have it.

Hey there! I actually made a video on the AMG ONE FE a while ago when it used to be a popular topic. It actually has its own special properties (upgrades and mastery to be specific) but it doesn’t have any bonuses attached to it from what I could find. It used to have the Forza Edition banner on its thumbnail but in the later updates it was removed. Makes me wonder if it was unfinished from the get-go and was reused as an intro car, the same way the Sennas were in FH4

The black VW Bora was also used as a placeholder in online races when someone used a car from a DLC you didn't have, and just showed up as "DLC car." I'm fairly certain this happened in Motorsport 3 too.

I remember playing nothing but Tag Virus and the extra cars were all blacked out VW Boras. Made it a bit hard to dodge them because it was usually smaller than the car it was portraying (like the CLK GTR) so there would be an extra few feet of invisible collision.

Null car glitch goes way back in the Xbox 360 era, In Forza Motorsport 2/3/4 if you watch a downloaded online replay there will be a rare chance of a ghostly transparent Volkswagen R32 in the race, It can also appear if the player is driving a DLC car that you didn't downloaded.

in fh5 i've had the null car just spawn in randomly when i was selecting the barn find jaguar. it was still all the same performance as the jag just the model was the null car. it was the same as the null car you can glitch into in fh4 with no interior or anything but it was still cool. happened once when the game was still only a couple months old and i havent had it happen again since.

The saleen raptor from the first forza horizon game. The only way to get this car is as a direct gift from a developer. It’s considered a unicorn car due to its rarity. I have no idea how many people actually had the saleen raptor in forza horizon but from my experience I didn’t see anyone but myself driving around in it and the community post about the car still leave people confused about its existence in the game. It’s not a glitched car but still pretty rare and like cars in real life there are way less people with this car today due to losing save files, losing their Xbox, losing the game or really any way to not have a way to play that exact saved game anymore. I lost mine in a house fire where my Xbox died and my game was destroyed.

I also had the null car glitch when I was playing with the jaguar XJ220 (I think) in Forza horizon 5. I think it’s because the visual file for the jag was corrupted. I could race and drive with it. It also had the regular upgrades the jaguar had but whenever I installed a visual upgrade the game crashed

so back in the old days forza used a all blacked out car (from memory was some ford) for people using a dlc car that you didnt have. essentially you didnt buy the dlc so you can even see the dlc car. so they coded in a dummy car (maybe what the null car is) and that is what you see. so you know where they are and when they hit the brakes i remember this being and thing back in motorsport 3-5 i wanna say

the null car was also in Forza Motorsport 3, 4, 5 and 6 with it being a VW Bora i had a pirated copy of FM3 and some cars couldn't load properly, so it was probably a placeholder car or else the game just wouldn't work that copy also stuttered heavily when loading a game and sometimes wouldn't even load, alongside a bunch of graphical glitches/clown vomit

I was gifted the OPI edition GT, the OREO Edition Pagani, and other cars like the Forza edition classic ford (that I cannot remember specific model name for) among other cars. Gifted them all at once by forza, completely random, and I have NO idea why. If anyone has an answer, let me know.

It's a glitch that sometimes occurs, but from what I understand, when it happens, those cars only remain in your garage for a little bit until the game realizes you shouldn't have them, and then it removes them.

i remember heading into an ulta beauty store for the dumb opi ford. the girl behind the counter took one look at me and said 'you looking for the xbox products, hon?' lmaoooo. but hey i got the stoopid car and sometimes even drive it so yay i guess. but the opi edition actually is different from the normal ford gt; its wheel widths are fixed and you can actually swap in the hoonitruck 1460hp engine to get it to x class.

Still available, still won't get you banned. But apparently if you share a livery for it, you will get banned. The advice from me remains unchanged: I do not advise trying it, and if you do try it, it is at your own risk.

When I first started playing fh5 I didn't have alot of cars and it was hard for me to get them so I quit. When I returned I week later I had somehow gotten the Ford GT OPI and now Its gone.

Probably was a glitch. Quite a few players have had glitches where they've somehow had access to exclusive cars, and then they randomly disappear after the game realizes they shouldn't have them.

The amg one forza edition is in the game but is only used or the very start as it was renamed in the files to IE amg one but in game shows up as the forza edition in the autoshpw

This is why I warned you in the video. What I'd recommend now is try contacting Forza Support and see if they can recover an old game save for you. Just don't tell them that you used the Null Car because they may not look favorably upon you if you do so.
