fr! i feel like mods help game devs and big companies to know what their community actually wants. turn 10 for example, it’s great to know that we want new cars and they add them but they don’t know anything specific a lot of the time. granted licenses are a big part of it but still.

You got banned for cheating in cars which is a controversial subject but using mods such as mine you don't really have a chance to get banned because it's client based. Anyways, enjoy modding the game guys. We have to make t10 and pg let us have our modded games.

the worst thing is that these 50 mods would take less effort to add in an update (the overhaul mods could be new bodykits and stuff like the magnum hellcat would be a new car) would add some like into the game. Because only having a few dozen cars with costoumize and the rest only gest the ugliest forza aero (some cars don't even get that) seems unfair. Its questionable why they ever thought to not listen to these modders, who add features that should be in the game, and to listen to the people who want some random returning car 88. I've been running a few mods for over a year and hundreds of hours now with no issues. I run revo Sound, sports car audio, improved transmission sound, a wheel pack mod, a mod that adds tire lettering to race tires, and a better backfire mod. If you don't actually *cheat* you should be fine.

Getting any car (Playlist, exclusives from promos etc) in the game for free is likely what flagged the bean. I've been using custom radios and custom sounds for over a year now and can still play online. But as someone else mentioned, it's also luck based if PGG feels like kicking someone off for good even if using no mods. They could fuck me in the ass tomorrow if they wanted.

I will never not be frustrated by the lack of proper customization in modern Forza titles when the team has (in my opinion) had plenty of time to add a variety of customization to most if not all of the game's cars. You mean to tell me it's been 10 years of this franchise and we still can't have things like a racing widebody M3 GTR or the ability for front end swaps to make cars like the Sil80? Like come on, Forza is a game with a primary focus on cars yet the customization outside of a select few vehicles is abysmal. I want to love Forza Horizon's modern titles, but as the years go on not only are the games growing increasingly affected by greed and corruption, but also lagging behind competitors like NFS even the Crew games.

From a developers standpoint it makes no sense. Almost all of the mods in this video should be features in the game aldready, and most mods by their nature are janky at best. Only a modders ideas help developers, not their skills, and most studios who developed games during Covid (such as fh5) were struggling financially anyway. They could barely support the people working on the game aldready let alone hire more people
