They’re 4 years late to the party and wanting to make up by asking for 4x the amount of any other comparable product. I like DD quality, but at that cost? They’re high. Ambidextrous is nice but unnecessary, and direct blowback is absolutely lame.

0:54 It is NOT a 2011 trigger pull! I dry fired one yesterday. Its the goofiest trigger I have ever felt. Not bad, just different because it pivots from the bottom.

Blowback is definitely a nonstarter for me. I like the design other than that, but they’re high to take this long and stick with simple blowback operation. As far as blowback goes, however, I have to say it’s nicer than most.

Talked to a guy said he shot 105 rounds hand had 2 rounds jam up and he decided to take it home and get out the stuck round . Said it was locked up? Said he thought it’s probably the ammo. And he never lubed it . I never live my guns when I first buy them . I always shoot them right out of the box. So him saying his jammed up to the point he had to take it home doesn’t sound good.

the H9 seems awesome. winner there the PCC.... that's a no from me, dawg. i like how they brag that they made a single 50cent part better than a straight AR9 conversion (which is only required because DD used stone-age straight blowback tech) and that it takes cheap mags. how do you flex on the poors with a 3lb bolt that's stripping rounds off the top of a scorpion poverty feeder? if you're a proper elitist, you own an MPX: $2000, gas operated, comes with no spare mags AND extras are $50, plus it basically requires a special $200 dollar trigger right from the get-go to not have a horrendous 7lb pull. (i own a DDM4 and a gen1 MPX)

It is a striker fired handgun. Almost all striker fired handgun slides look similar. No other striker fired handgun's grip assembly looks like the Daniel H9.

It's called a short-recoil system actually. It's based on the Browning short-recoil action with the locking tabs underneath the barrel chamber. Blowback firearms look like a hi-point and often they are open-bolt designs for carbines.

@@ALovelyBunchOfDragonballz I actually don't care what he said tbh since a lot of people mistake modern handguns for blowback action all the time. When he disassembled the slide from the lower frame he exposed the locking breech tabs used in a short recoil action to lock the barrel in place during firing which are not present in a blowback design which typically have a fixed barrel. Plus literally no one uses a blow back action for handguns because it's antiquated and unreliable.
