@@Absoluteresurface I think that's a good idea. I'm only buying another AR45 because I can have used parts. However if the new pump starts really puking I'll try the AR30. I will be waiting for your AR30 video and review!

Hey Kenny-Question boss: i need to replace my o rings with the viton o rings on 3/8 hose and quick connects could you save me alittle work and tell me what the two sizes i need are for the hose and the 1/4" quick connects on wand and gun. ty sir and Hello (its sunday again)
@housewashing56932 жыл бұрын
I ordered those through either from North Georgia Airless or Southside Washing Supply. I think there is a seller on Amazon called Mr. Oring that has them? I will tell you that the Viton/FKM o-rings are a lot harder than the cheapies. This can make the connection tough to put together. When I run out of these I may try silicon o-rings? Just a thought for you to ponder..............

Sir with the experience you’ve had with the AR, would you purchase another one??
@housewashing5693 Жыл бұрын
Yes. Would I try another model pump? Yes. I probably have 400 jobs on this pump. I've spent around 300 on repair parts to keep it going. So even at my minimum charge of $200 ×'s 400 jobs is a lot. So the repair costs are actually a small percentage of the money you make with it. Most big guys replace the pump twice a year just to eliminate headaches. I just finished my second season with the same pump. But I don't mind repairing things. I am looking at the ar50 pump next time around.

Kenny i have to keep choking my water or sh stops flowing. I am pulling off water valve side of manifold to ar inlet because I couldn’t get it to prime when I first installed the pump. Was thinking my inlet hose may have been too long. Anyway after I ended up having to force feed it the first time and it primes fine. However now I keep having to choke the water to get sh flowing again and it stops flowing if I cut SH under 50% on the asahi valve. I am wondering if cause wide open water on inlet side to ar is hogging all the flow and sh and soap get cut out. Any thoughts?
@housewashing5693 Жыл бұрын
I have noticed on my 3/4 Asahi valves that I need to run my water at 80% to make everything draw. If you use 1 inch Asahi valves it would most likely be 50% water

I did this the other day on a roof, and it seems like it pulled a weeker solution. Do you have to turn off the water a little bit?
@housewashing56932 ай бұрын
Yes you do. If you're running 100 lbs you need to do a test just like I showed. You need to know the point where your pump starts to starve. I'll make another video about it. In a nutshell. Turn all valves off except water. Set your pressure first. Then start closing your water valve until you see your stream start to fade. Let's say that is your water valve at 30%. So now if you want a 50% mix you need to open your sh to 15% and water to 15% for a total of the original 30%. Each time you change pressure you need to do this.

The blue general pump gun that you have is non stainless steel and the red gun is stainless, correct?
@housewashing56932 жыл бұрын
I just found out from the General Pump specs that you can get a blue fully SS gun too. But yes my particular blue gun is not SS.
