Guessing him to be Italian on the other doesn't make any sense since the pronounciatiation of an Italian accent would be even more different and less soft. I most likely wouldn't have gotten him being from an Arabic country from his English on the first try either, since I am from Germany. I mostly hear poeple speaking German with an Arabic accent and that somehow sounds completely different. But if he had called me habibi or used any other commonly known Arabic words like with the one guy who guessed wrong I would have known immediately.
