Elvis was my #1 for almost 60 years (1955- 2014) and all that time I never dreamed that someone (especially a little girl) could or would one day take his place! No one could ever sing any song he had done equal to or better than he did and especially not 6 or 7 of his songs! But I also never dreamed there would one day be a young Norwegian girl who would have the most beautiful voice I had ever heard; more talent and vocal ability, and more understanding of how a certain song should be performed than anyone I had ever heard before!! Elvis is still the "KING of Music" but Angelina is now the "QUEEN OF MUSIC"! And one day soon I believe the whole world of music will recognize her as the best vocalist ever!

Okay, just to put things in perspective, this is a TV station sponsored sing-along. She is one of many performers this day. At this point she is certainly a featured star in Norway. But the show is not just about her.

This fact is often not clear to many people. It would be crazy to gather 10,000 people to hear a song or two. And every artist present knew it was a sing-along show and acted accordingly. If you make a fuss of yourself instead of giving the audience a chance to interact, you won't be invited back. The amazing thing is that this kid (11yo) knows that as well as any other artist - she knows exactly the roles of solo singer (=herself), choir/backup singers and band/orchestra and how to work together to reach the audience entertain ("I feel like a 12yo only when I look on my passport" - that's not bragging, it's just the way it is).

In the Serbian language, there is a saying "the bigger the circle of knowledge, the bigger the circle of ignorance" - in the sense that the more you know, the more you are aware of what you don't know yet. I believe that Angelina, in her talent and knowledge that she gathered consciously and intuitively from birth, has remained curiously staring into the vast world of music to this day. She was 11years old here 🙂 As for her age, here is an easy trick for you, and it ONLY requires you to remember her year of birth, namely 2006. As her birthday happens to be on the 10th day of the year, you only have a 9 days' chance to get her age wrong as long as you know which year the performance took place. Like in this one, 2017. Angelina understood her remit, so left the vocal acrobatics in a box for another day. Allsang effectively means singalong and it's probably a safe bet that her passion for singing had previously placed her amongst the audience several times in her 11 years. She was clearly delighted and completely unfazed by this time taking centre stage and her audience seemed visibly proud of their globetrotting National Treasure just 3 months since she opened for Norah Jones at the Muse in City Festival in Korea. What none of them realise, possibly not even Angelina, is that she will be off to London inside a year having been invited by Quincy Jones to open his 85th birthday concert.

I read that this event is an annual Summer sing-a-long at Allsang pa Grensen in Norway where she has sang "What A Difference A Day Makes" at 8 in 2014, Something's Got A Hold on Me" at 11 in 2016, "It's Now or Never" at 12 in 0217 and "I Have Nothing" at 16 in 2022... Of course no event where held during the pandemic - I assume. Don't know if she performed at this event in 2015, 2018 when she moved to the US and 2019.

sometimes artists have a tight schedule (no matter how old they are 😉) and then it just doesn't fit 2014 "What A Difference A Day Makes" 2015 busy (traveling a lot) 2016 "Feeling Good" 2017 "Something's Got A Hold on Me" and "It's Now or Never" 2018 returning to Europe from LA for "It's Magic" release concert, Quincy's Bday and Kongsberg Jazz Festival 2022 "I Have Nothing" and "Bohemian Rhapsody". The show was held to a VERY limited audience during the pandemic and I believe travel restrictions were the reason she was unable to attend. 2019 is a good question, I only remember the Prøysenhuset concert - maybe the preparation for AGT The Champions overshadowed everything else

The way you were talking at the end reminds me of something I've been thinking about for a while now. Not sure I can phrase it particularly well, but here goes… Sometimes you'll hear someone on a talk show recount a story of meeting (or knowing personally) some world-famous person back before they were well known by the general public, and they'll talk about how there was something about the person that let you know that they were destined for greatness. Like, it might be a future president back in high school, or something, and everyone around them kinda knew they were going to be president someday. That kind of thing. To me, Angelina is _not_ that kind of person. She's a much rarer breed: the kind of person where you know they're going to do great things, _and you feel compelled to help make that happen_ . That's a whole different thing…

I know you've done "I'm A Fool" & "Love Don't Let Me Go" but the rest don't have videos, just a visualizer picture of her, just listen to her sound.
