Spellbinding...mesmerizing. The execution was epic...but huge props to whoever created, conceptualized, and choreographed the whole thing. No doubt there are other amazing and highly deserving acts...and no doubt that if ever a country needed a boost...it is Lebanon (and maybe just Arab women in general). But it's not a pity vote...this act really deserves it!

The really save the best for last, not for the night but for semi-finals. I was waiting the last 5 weeks to watch the Mayyas perform again. Them and Chapel Love were my favorite golden buzzers. They didn't disappoint at all tonight. I'm sobbing right now with how amazing that perfromance was. I was so enamored with that perfromance that I didn't realize it was over and when it was I wish it wasn't. I want to give them a hundreds of votes. I would be surprise if they not in the finals because to me the Mayyas already won this season.

I clicked on video as my curiosity was piqued. When I was in the Navy, I've had first hand knowledge and experiences of the Arab world, and I know there are those that would not even watch this video because of the word Arab in the title, sadly. But as I watched, I was moved to tears watching the sheer artistry of this group. I was in awe of the performance, wondering where to even begin with the thought process of how it would all come together in the end. Incredible! When it was over, my tears turned to almost sobbing to see and hear others express their appreciation of what they had just watched. I truly hope that this group affects others the way it has affected me. Bravo ladies!

As per the study done by the American University of Beirut and Dr Pierre Zalouaa most of the lebanese carry the Phoenician gene that no other Arab has. Sure we speak Arabic as we've been invaded, occupied and oppressed by Arabs. Till now most of words we use are not arabic origin: marhaba, beit, mawt, etc... Same for many villages name. Regards.

THE MAYYAS ACT EXPLAINED 1- 0:05 The tree of souls, everything in life is connected, balanced, peace and harmony. 2- 0:40 The mother (main dancer) wakes up. 3- 1:02 Suddenly, the mother senses a serpent as a sign of evil power and chaos from the underworld. 4- 1:20 The mother is raged and preparing to fight the serpent. 5- 1:54 The serpent warns the mother that too many souls can't reside in one body and she will die. Phonetics: "RUHAU RUHI WA RUHI RUHAU, MAN RA'AA RUHEIN HALAT BADANA" 6- 2:05 The mother is afraid, she quickly steps back, tries to scape by running in the forest and hide. 7- 2:20 The mother prepares a counter attack and kills the serpent. 8- 2:42 The mother goes back to the tree of souls and gives back balance to life.

There's no gymnastics or trick computer graphics, what that dance troupe has is boundless creativity and cohesion; no wonder the often jaded judges were tripping over themselves to come up with superlatives, even Simon! The best thing about AGT is that it raises the bar every single year. And the acts get better and better. Reminds me of Roger Bannister’s 4-minute mile. Until he did it, “science” thought it would be impossible. These girls have pushed dancing and AGT to a similarly “impossible” level. Brilliant. Can’t wait to see them in Vegas! Go Lebanon!
