I was hearing the piano version of this song and asked myself: " It's possible to play this in a guitar?". I thought "impossible" while typing the search input right before found this. Congratulations!

Almost anything played on a piano should be playable on guitar. It's just a matter of arranging it to work for a different instrument.
@jimmi-leekendall32404 жыл бұрын
@@MrShagification Completely agree - I've finished the arabesque and have been working my way through Debussy's other works - Iv'e been recently reworking what's established for claire de lune, Bringing it closer to the piano. The Cathedral Piece is translating over in it's own charm

I've just discovered that I prefer to hear a number of Debussy's pieces on guitar than on piano. Having made that discovery, I'm really enjoying these great performances here on You Tube - in this instance, my thanks to both Rene Izquierdo for the arrangment, and Yeram Yoon for this excellent performance. The piano doesn't do harmonics, but the guitar does - and the tone of a fine classical guitar seems so much better suited to some of the impressionist repertoire. My thanks also, therefore, to Mr Jeff Sigurdson for making such a lovely sounding instrument.
