Salam and thank you for this great lesson. Question: in which category does the Maa in Maa Challah stand? Thank you.
@Arabicwithamina23 күн бұрын
Walaikum asalam! Glad you enjoyed the video. That's an excellent question you've raised. There are two perspectives on the nature of 'ma' in 'ما شاء الله.' The first view suggests it is 'ma' as a ما موصولة with the meaning of 'الذي.' The second viewpoint proposes that it might be a 'ma' found in conditional sentences ما شرطية, where the complete sentence would be 'ما شاء الله كان,' but the 'كان' is omitted."
@qsrkhan16 күн бұрын
@@ArabicwithaminaJazakillahu Khayren! Why wouldn’t you add ما الشرطية as a part of the lesson?

شكرا! هل يشترط" للما" الإبهامية أن تكون بعد إسم نكرة، ولا بعد إسم معرفة؟ لماذا "ما" المصدرية سميت بهذا الاسم ( المصدرية)؟
@Arabicwithamina4 күн бұрын
العفو! نعم تأتي ما الابهامية بعد نكرة وسميت ما المصدرية بهذا الاسم لانه يمكن استبداله بمصدر صريح

What about still? Maa zaala?
@ArabicwithaminaАй бұрын
Good question! In this stance "maa" is a negation particle, and "zaal" is a past tense verb meaning (gone, nonexistent, or cease to exist). So when zaal is negated the meaning becomes (still) or (ongoing) This can be achieved with ما or لا ما زال / لا زال
@MrEast900Ай бұрын
ما المصدرية described as source doesn’t make sense. It requires a much better explanation and many more examples.
@sabrinas-viewАй бұрын
You can replace Ma masdariyah with a masdar which is the equivalent of the infinitive verb
@MrEast900Ай бұрын
@@sabrinas-view this is a technical explanation nobody can understand. Can you make a video explaining with actual examples? Arab children learn Arabic fluently by context and examples . They don’t have any idea what infinitive verb is
