Rather strangely, Galu's videos were a source of immense comfort for me in a time of need. I suppose it's the very definition of a parasocial relationship, a somewhat frightening concept to think about, but in this case a much beloved one for which I have nothing but gratitude. Galu's love for the same subject matter I love was ever endearing and this channel became a place of familiarity and respite after long weeks or in times of stress with work. When I found this channel and DAC 3 years ago it reignited my childhood love for LOTR and encouraged me to reread the books. They've taken a whole new meaning to me now that I've entered adulthood. It was truly a pleasure watching and following you Galu. My interests in Tolkein and Dac have ebbed and flowed over the past several years, but you've always been the person I turned to for LOTR content. You will go down as one of my favorite creators of all time and I'm so thankful for you. It kinda feels like losing a friend. Your voice is so calming and so nice.
